Dragic created a lot of havoc tonight (8 points, 8 assists). Sasha could be the perfect answer for stopping Goran's penetration. Sasha has better man to man defense than Farmar. He can also knock down open threes against the zone. Give Sasha Farmar's minutes.
Bench Bynum, start Odom. Bring in Luke to match up with Dudley and to to help pick apart the zone. _________________ "Here come the Lakers!" - R.I.P. Chick Hearn
I like Farmar/Brown at home, but prefer Brown/Sasha on the road. Farmar killed us early in the 4th tonight, Kobe didnt any looks with him running the point. Also, Sasha seems to shoot better on the road than at home, puts too much pressure on himself at Staples. I also wouldn't mind seeing Mbenga in quick stints. _________________ Back to Back Yeah, Yeah...and you know that!

Sasha seems to always play pretty well against Dragic, they're both from Slovenia right? Are they friends or do they have a little bad blood between them? I can just imagine those two insulting each other in Slovenian all game long and the refs don't know what the heck they're saying. _________________ Ringo "You retired too?"

i actually like the lineup you just mentioned. i think it could work. what i really liked about sasha is man to man defense. i liked how he also got in what's his names face!....good to see! sometimes you've got to give him a chance. hes positive in some instances....and tonight he did pretty good.

It reminds me of how DFish does so well vs DWill because he knows his game so well.
Since they were both on the national team (at least for a while), I'm assuming Sasha knows his game fairly well. He seems to know how to cause real problems for him, which is great for LA.

yeah, maybe they are from parts of the country that don't particularly like each other. playing together for a few weeks out of patriotism wouldn't necessarily breed good relationships. _________________ "We got a new universe coming and he's going to control all our universes. It's not like it takes much to stop him. You just have to play better defense than Jordan Farmar, which isn't exactly a difficult task for most NBA-caliber guards.
I love Sasha getting some minutes over Jordan and Shannon... in the right situation, that is. Matched up on Dragic would certainly be one of these times. If he can avoid getting some fouls called against him (obviously difficult for him), I wouldn't be surprised if he hits a couple big shots.
