Embroidered on the back of the Lakers' warm-ups is the Walter A. Brown trophy, given to NBA champs pre 1977 http://plixi.com/p/73620373

I wish they would just stick to the normal program. Why are we always throwing a monkey wrench into "important" games like this haha? As if our guys need another distraction. most athletes are very superstitious...the reason for this is that to get where they are has required thousands of our of repetition, doing the same thing over and over. Change something up and their whole world falls apart lol. Seems like whenever we play a game like this there is always some gimmick to make them lose focus.

Remember when 3 yrs ago they wore those short shorts when they played the Celtics. They had to change them at halftime.

Who has that cup now? The NBA? or the Celtics who won the last cup in 1976? Do teams have replica's in their office?

Yeah, kinda tough to play with "a warrior's spirit" when you're embarrassed and self-conscious and the other team is laughing at you.

80's throwback =
80's shorts =

But I agree with shansen008: For these important games, just stick to the normal routine. No gimmicks.

Come on Mule there's nothing wrong with the Sunday whites. Don't forget that Kobe gave us 81 reasons to like those uni's!
