Although we lost that game to San Antonio we played pretty good, I think that good energy will carry over to this game and we will get the much needed win.

It's 50/50 just like the Lakers standings. If only they would do a better job defensively. |

I really think they are going to start turning it on... instead of playing great for 75 percent of the game, they are going to start playing great for 85 percent of the game, which will give them an easy 106-89 victory tonight. |

**Get ready for overtime**
Defense steps up, but the offense stumbles a bit, but Lakers pull out a 106-102 victory.
BTW: Jim Jackson contributes 10 points.

Despite losing to the Spurs, they played a good game and have been playing well over the last 3. They had a bit of a sloppy stretch in the 3rd and San Antonio being on fire didn't help. I've noticed that they're playing under control a lot more on the offensive end, running through their sets and not settling for the three so much. On defense, Kwame being the low-post anchor is nice to see. If he can contribute even modestly on the offensive end without silly turnovers, that will make me happy. Defensively, I just want to see our guards stay at home on their assignments and keep the Hornets little dudes out of the damn paint. _________________ Game recognize game, Granddad. - Riley Freeman, The Boondocks |

point spread says "PK" meaning pick your team...no team is favored, which is kinda strange, considering lakers are playing on the road vs a team that has a better record...maybe vegas knows something we dont...
ill pick lakers 108, hornets 103...high scoring game
kobe goes for 32 points, 11 assists
lamar goes for 18 pts, 14 rebs, 7 assists
cook also has 18 points
kwame..sucks as usual _________________ Lakers in '08.

^^^^Many people above have their "minds on drugs".
Lakers win this game in convincing "never threatened" fashion. They will lead from the middle of the first on. It won't be a blowout (biggest lead will be 14)...it will be worse, Lakes will win by a measly 7 points but those losses are the worst kind when you simply can't seem to get over the hump; which is what NO will feel tonight. A very concise and efficient win for LA with beutiful execution of the tri. We will constantly answer their runs with our own. Sort of like how SA did us the other night. Paul won't get all the whistles and will suffer through a tough scoring night. We are young, but NO is "younger" than us. We cruise. We start a win streak of more than 3 games TONIGHT.

Hornets will lead early on the pure emotion of playing back in NO for the first time. The Lakers will dig themselves into a large hole, then make a comeback. But they'll get eaten up late by Chris Paul, fall short by a couple of points, and the Hornets win a close one. |

The only way we can counter the New Orleans mojo is by playing JJ big minutes. If JJ doen't see at leat 20, we're doomed. |

Faith my padowan learner.
Seriously. That game against the Spurs was a 2 point game and would have continued as such if they didn't blister their 3 point shots. Have watched them enough this year to know, they don't typically shoot that well from 3 (as individuals some decent avg's however) nor do they take as many as they did against us. I find it hard to beleive that they will be able to do the same tomorrow night. They are coming off the road as well. But other than that, no, I'm not Nastradamus, but I just feel like LA will reel off a winning streak of 4 to 5 games starting tonight. Hope I'm right. _________________ "For we look not at the things that are seen but at the things that are unseen. For the things seen are temporary and the things unseen are eternal" |

I truly think the Lakers are going to manhandle the Hornets. I think they have to pissed about the way they played and want payback.
I just can't see them losing tonight I'll take L.A. 96-81...
Watch them lose 118- 83. |

hornets hve a better record than us and are playing the NO for the first time this season with the NO fans there like its a homecoming game.
so theres no reason why Kobe doesnt score another 40 and the Lakers win by 6 pts |

This game is going to be tough to win. The Hornets are gonna be inspired because they are in New Orleans.
