The Lakers are at home. A win tonight will officially make this a winning season. Sacto plays Phoenix so there is a chance to pull ahead of them.
The stakes in this game are a lot higher than they were for any past meetings with GS this past season, and the Lakers have done ok.
I do remember how many teams we helped get healthy a little while back.
But only 4 games until the playoffs, so I'm hoping the Lakers take em all. And I mean all 4.
Go Lakers! _________________ BORN REBLE |

So, let's go in and kill these mf's. We can't let them deny us our spot. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

it all has to do with Baron Davis. hes been out a lot this year as usual. when he is healthy, Baron demands mvp consideration. He really needs to focus on conditioning and lose some of his wieght, but he doesnt have a good work ethic as far as i know. |

Baron is a GREAT player who seems to not like basketball all that much. Sad. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. http://www.vegasinsider.com/nba/odds/las-vegas/ | It's gotta be his shin that was kicked two games ago. Again, these clowns call the Laker offices, get somebody's assistant, ask "Is Kobe playing in the GS game?" and the answer, of course, is "Probably." |

If I remember correctly, BOTH Jason Richardson and Baron Davis are out for the game, right? |

We've handled this team well, so stop with your crying. And enough with the silly defeatist remarks. _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam

Haven't the Lakers ended something like 4 or 5 losing streaks this year? |

Baron wasn't playing the same way this season that he did last season. His ego got the best of him and he started clashing with the coach and jacking up 3's. The rest of the players picked up on his lack of respect for Montgomery and followed his lead. |

yeah i agree with you that he wasnt the same player this year. i dont think he was healthy all year, and as you said the clashing with the coach doesnt help either.
but i think we both know the success of their team lies on BD's shoulders, and this year he didnt get it done. |
