Suprisingly enough - him and Bonzi are ahead of guys like Ben Wallace, Elton Brand, Tim Duncan and Shaq.

Pretty impressive.

Quick! Let's trade him in the offseason for Rashard Lewis while his trade value is high!

LO's been just killin' 'em. One more LO, then you get your revenge on the team that traded you...

I agree.

It sucks that another monster effort last game - 15 boards, 18 points, 6 assists - when to waste because apart from him and Kobe noone really showed up with their A game.

The way Bryant and Odom played - the Lakers should have closed out.

But one more game. We win this one - and we're not expected to leave LA again until possibly the WCF.

Insane.

LOL, if you sort by rebounds per 48 min, Brian Cook is 9th is rp48, right behind Shaq.

That's why per 48 is a bad stat to use at times, with players playing less than 25-30 minutes.

Cook's playing what 12-13 minutes?

Kwame and Smush, in particular, mailed in it on defense.

Agreed. Kwame I can half understand because of the foul trouble and off court distractions.

However, Kwame is the key to this team's defense. He clogs up the paint with his size and has the mobility to defend the pick and roll. He must show up tonight defensively. Without him playing a good defensive game, I don't know if we can beat the Suns.

odom's rebounding is a very underrated aspect of his game. if anyone wants to trade this guy, we need to acquire a guy with double rebounding capabilities. kwame brown hasn't proven his ability to be a great rebounder.

It's not any more misleading than citing the regular stats, without taking the minutes into account. I mean Odom is playing 44 min, 12 rebounds in 44 min is actually not that great. You'd have to figure that if a guy plays 44 min, then his sub is not getting a lot of minutes, hence a lot less rebounds than the other subs.

There's a reason why players are on the floor more often than other players. Odom can contribute in other ways besides rebounding.

12 rbs an average in playoff is very good, regardless of how many minutes. If you don't think its not that great a number, then why is he ranked No#1 currently in rebounds among ALL NBA players?

It's Bravehearts job on the site to crash a party whenever he sees an opening. Don't pay him any attention...

Anyway, what you've seen from LO thus far will pale in comparison to what you're going to see tonight. Look for a LO masterpiece. The Lakers know that going back to Phoenix could be extremely dangerous. LO,and Kobe will be holding a clinic while Luke Walton will be the ace in da hole ya'll!!!

I'll be back for my props in a few...

Go get the MF's LO!

Gooden has also fouled out in 11 of the 13 playoff games he has played in in his career.

ON NO YOU DIDN'T!!!!!

Did you just dis Lamar's rebounding??? Seriously????????????????

OK. You are officially banned from using the name BraveHeart (I can do that ... I'm a true Scot) ... and you must publicly renounce your Laker fandom and admit you are a closet San Antonio Stern.

UnFREAKINbelievable!!! Lamar has been nothing short of a rebounding machine in this series. The proble with 48 minute stats is that they distort short time spurts. For example, Turiaf comes in with his high energy level and scores 8 points in 9 minutes. That is a 48 minute average of 43!!!! Do you REALLY think he is going to score 43??????

Players who can produce big numbers ... like Lamar has in this series ...
over the course of the ENTIRE game are far more valuable than the player who can come in and go crazy for a few minutes and then ZIPO. Odom had 15 rebounds in 42 minutes in the last game. THAT is awesome regardless of how you look at it.

Now go find your flea bitten cow and ride it back to San Antonio, Texass.
