Brandon Roy was on Dave Smiths show a few months ago. Dave jokingly said "Maybe we can trade Kobe Bryant so that the Lakers can draft you!". Brando Roy responded "Oh no don't do that, I want to play with him, he's my favorite player!".
Then just last night we find out that Kobe was Devin Harris's favorite player coming out of college and about how nervous he was when he had to guard him for the first time. He said he wasn't guarding him but he was just "watching him". I believe Dwayne Wade said Kobe was his favorite player when he was in college also. But everyone hates Kobe right :roll: |

He said it on Stephen A. Smith's show. Said something to the effect of, "Kobe's a guy that you look in the papers, ESPN that night. Just to see what he's doing, how many points he scored. I mean, I was in college just a few years ago, so I was definitely a fan."

It is true though, Lebron has openly stated that Kobe was his favorite player as well IIRC. |

| DRAFT HIM. We should have a team full of people who say Kobe is their favorite player. Then we can have a team full of players who give the ball to Kobe and stand around and wait for him to do something. Oh wait... it's already like that. |
