|
|
I have narrowed it down to those two because with those two, I can get broadband for my laptop in addition to the cellular phone. I am leaning towards Cingular. From the people I have talked to, Verizon hardly ever drops a call. Cingular drops, but not too often. Also, Cingular allows you to start evenings earlier, but Verizon evenings start at 9pm no matter what. Cingular has rollover minutes and Verizon doesn't. Pricing and minutes are all the same. Am I leaving anything out? _________________ Defense is my business, and business is good! |

Since most of the people I know have verizon, I got verizon too because you get unlimited minutes to other verizon customers. This has been HUGE for me. My entire famlily, my girlfriend, and 2 of my closest friends have Verizon, so I rarely ever use up even half of my minutes. Haven't had problems with dropped calls, and my phone is more than 3 years old.
Can't comment on Cingular because I've been with Verizon for the last 5 years and had Sprint before that. |

I get reception in places that my friends with Verizon don't. I have Cingular and besides a few bugs here and there I love it. It's pretty reliable and like Verizon there are unlimited mobile to mobile talking. They both have their perks. |

I was with verizon many years ago when they were still airtouch. They have great service but IMHO their mobile phone selection is pretty poor. This also considering they offer no sim cards with their phones. I think maybe verizon can edge out cingular in customer service but outside of that I wouldnt leave. So my pick is cingular. |

Words of Advice......don't base ANY decision on whether you'll be able to talk to your girlfriend for free.
I switched to Verizon because of my girl....after 2 years I wanted to switch back for the very same reasons LakersLegend mentioned. But I stayed with Verizon because of my girl. This was about 3 months ago. Needless to say, we're not together anymore, and I'm stuck with Verizon for another 2 years. |

Verizon is the best provider without a doubt. I've tried the others and always went back to Verizon. I rarely ever lose a call. They also have the most towers. |
