All I know is Kobe will either be injured or in jail for homicide as the Lakers lose game after game due to this summer league roster Jim Buss has put together. At least Pau escaped this disaster at his first opportunity. _________________ A three headed monster... Jeannie, Pelinka, and Ham... another terrible season. |

PG Jeremy Lin...Steve Nash/Jordan Clarkson
SG Lance Stephenson...Xavier Henry/Marshon Brooks
SF Kobe Bryant...Nick Young
PF Julius Randle...Ryan Kelly/Wesley Johnson
C Jordan Hill...Robert Sacre
If we can still get Stephenson, we have a sleeper team goin into the season. |

C'mon bro.
You'd rather have Lance Stephenson when you can have Wes Johnson or Xavier Henry?

I think this will be the opening day lineup but we might see Randle start after a month if he shows he can. |

Just like last year, the team's main unit will be Kobe and four guys named Joe.
Despite the faintest glimmer of hope seen in Jordan Clarkson this Summer, I have to admit that the Laker rebuilt is stalled out - or sliding rearwards - for another year.
Essentially, I see the "talent exchange" of Gasol for Boozer and Randle as a debilitating step backwards. Coupled as it is with the acquisition of Davis, the Summer re-signings of Henry, Mathews, Johnson and Kelly, the roster offers nothing more than a rerun at last season's feeble rebuild steps. I'm patient, but man, this is the fifth Summer since our favorite club's last visit to the Western Conference Finals.
It's painful to admit to seeing such poor progress being made in re-invigorating this ball club. For perspective, let's remind ourselves that it was four Summers after Jerry West's last visit to the WCF that the Lakers returned to the same form, with veteran champions Wilkes and Abdul-Jabbar aboard, still in their prime. Nothing like that on the roster today. After Shaq's departure, it took only four seasons to retun to the WCF.
This is looking worse than the seven Summers of the '90s talent breach between Magic's teams and those of Shaq. It's gonna take a long time to make a deep playoff run, at this rate. |

Well I hope we pick up a true center either by draft or FA next season. We shall see if Lin pans out, I'm hoping for the best. |

I like this. Boozer and Randle will probably share even minutes depending on how Randle plays. I'm msotly worried about defense lol _________________ “We do have a lot in common.

You are seriously overrating the hell out of Gasol's last few years. Randle and Boozer will easily replace his production. |
