So i guess since nobody else has posted it, with Charlotte, with the 3rd year being a team option.
Sure beats that 64/4 offer they threw at Hayward. |

Of all the contracts this off-season, the Hayward contract is the one that baffles me the most. Second on the list is Jodie Meeks. 27/3 for Stephenson actually sounds reasonable compared to those deals. |

We signed Hill for roughly the same amount of money rather than a 23 year old that had 5 triple doubles last season and played locked down defense. I am so pissed at our FO this year. _________________ "I was laying myself on the line by saying, if this doesn't work in three to four years, if we're not back on the top then I will step down because that means I have failed,"

The Hornets are gonna be a Top-4 team in the EC next year.... they have a combination of nice youth and talent.... if Kemba Walker grows into a better player watch out for them. |

good contract for the Hornets. I find it hard to believe he couldn't pull more than 10 mil. _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say. Will be missed by the Pacers.
George Hill and Hibber will not pick the offense tab.
West is one year older.
Even Granger could have been useful.
Evan Turner is not the solution. _________________ -----------------------------------------------------

Jordan screwing with Utah again?
Honestly, i think they were driving the market up on purpose knowing Utah would match.
But look at the repercussions for the wing market, there were 5 guys in the market who were worth somewhere between 8 and 10m, when a market is that saturated with the "pretty good guys", you wouldn't think it would get crazy, even with the oodles of cap space teams had.
Utah massively overpaid to keep Hayward
In turn Dallas offered a stupid contract for Parsons, essentially pissing away the discount Dirk gave them
Houston lost Parsons because matching would be stupid
Then the market dried up, Ariza and Deng signed team friendly contracts with Houston and Miami
Then they nabbed Stephenson from Indiana on a really team friendly contract
For all the grief their organisation gets, they came out of it in a great position, while putting 4 other teams in varying degrees of a mess. |
