That wont happen... Too many sponsors, too much branding going on. |
Of course it could. Lebron has already lost in the Finals 3 times. |

My take on the OP LINK _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

In my mind Lebron is 1-4 in the finals. The Spurs gave away a championship 2 years ago, more than Lebron and the Heat one it. _________________ "It's just a job. Grass grows, birds fly, waves pound the sand. I beat people up."-The Greatest |

Texas 3. Lebron 1(thanks to Jesus Shuttlesworth). Lebron probably has Texasphobia. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

So you hate on lebron for taking less money so he could play with better players? Let me guess, u must really love when Kobe took the max and said all he cared about was winning. _________________ Pain is temporary, at the end of pain is success... |

There's no sense in the OP's comparison. The gaps in both periodic pay and accumulated wealth (let alone job market power) eliminates the comparison's validity.
The disrespect you give to retail salespersons who use price reductions to close deals (and earn a living via commissions, get paid every cycle) may - or may not be - valid.
But those people's behavior is unrelated to the mega-rich sports stars. LeBron can drop his price to almost nothing and move shop-to-shop periodically to obtain championship team mates and not "suffer". He makes more off the court than on the court. He became financially secure for a rich man's long life at an astonishingly young age.
LeBron's risks are weighed entirely differently than those of a sales guy, who simply may need to close deals regularly to eat, own a home, care for his family, and invest for a future.
These no basis for comparing the respect due the types of people, nor their behaviors. |
