ok guys i think i have the trade that fills all our remaining needs ...
chris mihm/ brian cook/ aaron mckie/ and smush parker for
chris duhon/ michael sweetney/ malik allen
lakers make this trade cuz they get their starting pg and 2 solid big men
bulls make trade cuz they get cap room (mihm, mckie, & smush exp Ks)
also in the meantime they get a solid center and back up pg and a well cook
to me this makes sense for both teams on the court as well as financially
wut u guys think? |

Oh, geez...
The Bulls could possibly offer over $12M a year to Wallace. They already HAVE cap room.
They also already have Hinrich, Duhon, and Gordon -- all of whom are better than Smush or McKie.
Whatever.

wut are u guys talking about? duhon is not a scrub. he's a great defensive point... he can shoot.. athletic.. solid fundamentals out of duke. he's a good player, and could start for the lakers.
malik allen is a good defensive player.. and sweetney is a guy with some size who bangs down low.. he's a pretty good shooter too.
i say it's a good trade for the lakers because it fills their holes at point guard, and gives them size and depth on the bench. |

scrubs for scrubs?
that scrub sweetney avg 21 pts 12 brds 2 asts 1 stl and 3.5 blks against us last year
as lakerz4sho said duhon probably could be starting on most teams
and malik allen is nice depth for our somewhat weak frontcourt
and be realistic people mihm, cook, mckie, & smush/sasha package isnt gonna get us an allstar
with duhon/sweetney/allen u dont commit long term financially either and u get players that fit this team better |

Duhon is a perfect fit in Chicago, a backup for Hinrich. I guess I don't overvalue scurbs like some of you do. Great defensive point? Ha! I see him get torched endlessly, but it's okay, because he's a backup anyway, and at least tries to play position defense. My opinion of a great defensive point is Jamal Tinsley. I would much rather start Farmar ahead of Duhon, there is a reason he was drafted in the second round - he's not all that you claim he is - athletic shooter with great defensive skills. He's got solid fundamentals... but so does Luke Walton. He's a scrub.
I've seen enough of Mike Sweatney to know he can hold his position in the post, but doesn't have any impact against quicker PFs, getting torched constantly. He does have long arms to help in his rebounding, but he's a career backup. He's a scrub.
You'll have to convience me otherwise, I couldn't see either starting for the Lakers. |

I keep hearing these trade ideas involving the Bulls and it's starting to become funny. Paxson is not an idiot people. He has a lot of talent he can move, but he's only going to do so if it benefits his team. He has brought the Bulls back to a decent level and isn't slowing up. I would rather trade with Isiah as I know he is an idiot! |
