The forseeable future will be more bittersweet than enjoyable as Lakers fans, but we can still enjoy our allegiance to one another by laughing at the expense of the less fortunate. In honor of this spirit, here is some early QFTOS, courtesy of one of Texas' many learning disability headquarters on the internet.

Of Mice and Men wrote: | I think Jeanie, along with those in the LA media defending Kobe all day today, are kind of supporting Henry Abbott's point without knowing it.
Remember, the critics quoted by Abbott were not just talking about Kobe personally, but how the whole Lakers environment is around Kobe-- those people enable Kobe and would not hold him accountable for anything while blaming his teammates, even star level teammates like Pau and Dwight who work very hard, and coaches for the Lakers failures. For example, the article talked about how Dwight Howard had no real issue with D'Antoni's offense but resented the fact that Kobe was allowed to not execute the offense but others cannot. Kobe also gets away with not playing defense.
In calling those who wouldn't play with Kobe "losers" and threatening to out and fire anyone who dares saying bad things about Kobe, Jeanie Buss confirms how true the allegations about the Lakers' coddling and enabling of Kobe is. It just shows that they will take Kobe's side every time, even when he attacks a star teammate or the coach. The LA media does the same every time they snipe at guys like Dwight for apparently not being tough-minded.

I wonder, what is so inherently "clutch" about Hou fans?
Certainly not knowledge or wit. |

Is this idiot rocket fan talking about the infamous gems year before the lakers moved to Minnesota. If your gonna talk (bleep) at least get ur facts straights.
Lmao @ the clippers being the real Los angles team. That's why staples center has it's arena totally dedicated to the laker Franchise since it was built in 99. Any real nba fan would know that Los Angeles is home to the lakers. The clippers are like that annoying tenant you want to get rid of but can't because the rent money is good. |

They are talking about Kobe somehow destroying the Lakers despite having one 5 titles for us and being at the end of his career... completely ignoring an unprecedented move by the NBA league office to cripple us by vetoeing a trade... _________________ You are either in or on your way to the NBA Finals. |

Kobe dominated the league from 99-13. He got the best of every team, every rivalry, every sportswriter who tried to bury him in the mid 2000's. 5 championships, countless heartbreaking game winners, Olympic gold, 81 points, 62 in 3 quarters, MVP, a 3 peat and a back-to-back. They just couldn't shake him, he always ended up on top.
Now, 36 years old, 20 years in the league and significantly injured, they come and try to claim victory over him. As if somehow now, they can say "we were always right about him".

At Rockets fans talking (bleep). Harden and Howard have to be the most mentally weak "star" duo of all time. At least T-mac and Yao were likable. You felt sorry for them after their annual 1st round exits. With the two douchebags in charge in Fat City today, I'll be pointing and laughing at them after their yearly ass whippings. |

Not sure we should trash talk too much with possibly only 8 healthy players on Tuesday |

We're not too far from our championships. At least not 2 decades far. We're allowed to talk (bleep). Talking (bleep) when your team is barely out of the gutter is embarrassing. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good |

Yea if it was a Spurs fan talking then maybe I might listen. Hell I would listen to a Mavs fan before a Rockets fan at this point they have way more success in the past 19 years or so.
Rockets would have no championships if Michael didn't decide to play baseball. |
