i like j.r. smith alot. and he is looking to be traded.
what if we traded for him and started him at 1?
we don't need a pure pg for the triangle offense.
i know he's not the best defender but he has the height and quickness to defend anyone...
what do you guys think? |

I agree that I don't think he works at the 1 spot. Can we get him for B. Cook? |

I like Smith too. I think he can thrive under a different enviroment. His value is literally dirt cheap right now. _________________ Pain is temporary, at the end of pain is success... |

If we pick him up, what do we really have to lose? Give him time to grow in a good system and he might suprise us. He has all the physical tools. |

i'd trade for him. he could be cheaply had and he clearly has talent. if he's a bust or bad character, you bench him and you let go of him. plain and simple. it's a low risk/high reward deal. |

some pt for sasha?
come on. we need talent on this team. look at dallas last year, and what chicago's doing.
jr smith is a big guard, with good skills, good athleticism.
he may not be the smartest kid or the most disciplined but you can say that about alot of people, and we have a coach who can make him a star.
plus new orleans doesn't want him. he doesn't want to be in new orleans and we can probably get him for real cheap. |
