Can't blame it all on him. Look who he has starting with him. |
Very good point... I believe Lin's #s would not be as good with that "starting" lineup |
Not sure about that. BS has been moving players back and forth between 1st and 2 unit. But the second unit always did better that the first. The least useful guy is probably Kelly though. |
Lin would do well with the starters if Davis follows him there. We haven't had a legitimate starting lineup all year, not sure what Byron's logic has been. A true starting lineup should be
Lin
Ellington
Wes
Boozer
Davis
But of course this would never happen under BS, it's just too logical. |
I agree, but I would give Clarkson more minutes than Ellington off the bench with most of his playing time as SG in addition to backing up Lin at PG. Soon it will become so painfully obvious that BS will not be able to keep Kelly and Sacre in and with a straight face say he's not tanking |
Agreed, I would even start Clarkson at the 2 if we had another true pg to run the 2nd unit. |

Anyway, we're trying to tank so the legitimize talk is moot. The lineup has never made sense from the getgo, why start now lol. |

Whats your point. They don't even play the same positions and Wayne is the only SG available this game. Nick Young is injured and Kobe is out for the year. Lin on the other hand shares duties with Clarkson. |

Clarkson plays with Boozer and sacre for 18 minutes a game, Clarkson won't be on the + side anytime soon |
And normally I would agree with that but their +/- were only -6/-9 |

that's how BS make sure the game will end as planned. Genius maneuver. |
I know Lin should been 12/12 gosh such a scrub heh.
They both played decent and we already know that BS has pretty horrible time management. |

but it doesn't matter, it's the BS system. ellington is price's replacement.
it's much better than before though. at least ellington is still young and has much higher upside than price. |

I can't complain with Lin getting 30 mins/night and getting to finish off games. This way he can stay more consistent and not get run into the ground like with MDA. |

Uhhhm Clarkson better than Wellington?? Maybe in five years with a bunch of refinement. I think he has the quickness where he could be if he learned Ellingtons composure and bulked up so he wouldn't be such a liability on defense |

Actually with the 3 guard rotation, both Lin and Clarkson have played SG for a few minutes: Lin at the end of the first and Clarkson at the end of 4th. |

What's the point?lay Ln 40 minutes so he can hit the IR?
Give it a break |
The point is probably evening out the playing time? 35 each or something like that? |

43 FT vs 17... I don't really want to blame it on the ref but the difference is just too big to ignore. If we got a few calls in our favor than the outcome would be different. But a L is a L, I'll take it.
But seriously man, we really need a legit big next season. Hill & Sacre just ain't gonna cut it. That would be my first priority come off season, since BS looks to be here for good so nothing can be done there. |

Current Keepers for next year....:
Ellington
Davis
Clarkson.....
the rest of the team on this roster will probably be on another squad next year........ I'm just happy that this dreadful season is coming to an end... and the sad part is that a healthy Randle/Nash and a productive Kobe would probably still put us out of the playoffs right now so the need to get better should be the plan. |

Lin and Davis need to sign a combined contract like Morris Twins... they help each other tremendously... Davis is always there when Lin is driving, and Lin keeps finding Davis... Even Lin's missed layups often ended up Davis' rebound and putbacks... |

Lin plays well with Davis but honestly, he plays good with a lot of bigs. Tyson Chandler with NY, on Houston Jones, Smith and Asik and sometimes Howard and on the Lakers Davis, at times Black and not bad with Boozer and Hill though they Pick and pop more than roll. |
