You're not going to be happy with the CBS mock draft.

I wouldn't be surprised if WCS goes top 3. When is the last time anyone has seen a 7 footer as athletic as he is? He's not just a great athelete he's a fluid athlete and everything he does looks effortless. I think people get too caught up on offense and forget about then ther side of the game. How often doesa player come around that's gifted enough to be a game changer on defense?

If the lakers pick him top 5 I wouldn't bat an eye lash. I would be even happier if we grab Hollis-Jefferson with him.

Clarkso
Kobe
Hollis-Jefferson
Randle
WCS

I would be absolutely thrilled if that was the starting lineup on opening night next season.

I still would take Okafor and Towns before WCS. Maybe Russell. But WCS deserves to be in the conversation. His high B-ball IQ is a big part of his game. Not sure where the low IQ comment is coming from.

WCS may not be flashy but he will be an anchor or foundation defensive player for an NBA team for a long time. On ball he is terrific. His weak side help is just as good. As I said, I would have no problem with him being a "role player" with the Lakers if that is how the draft played out.

If not WCS, Winslow is also impressing at that 5th spot.

I hate Duke, so do not think I am a fan of theirs by putting the two at the top.
I just think Winslow is that good. I think Winslow is the safest pick of all the players and he will AT LEAST be a good NBA player. The others may potentially have a higher ceiling, but they come with higher risk. Every game I see him play, I can not believe how good he is. It seems he gets better all the time. He will be one of the best and versatile defenders in the NBA next season.

Truth. Defense runs in his blood. His father Carl was one of the best defenders I've ever seen!

GOOD ONE!!

PS: We all know that his dad is Ricky (PHI SLAMMA JAMMA /Houston) not Steve Urkel's neighbor.

Any way we can trade half the team to get another top 5 pick so we can have 2. Then we draft any combination of guard-center.

Mudiay, Russell
Towns, okafor, Stein

Yes, you just click the force trade? button.

I want Winslow. Our weakest postion is SF !!! They're like 10 potential legit centers we can sign from DeAndre to Hibbert to Lopez to Asik. Not many athletic UFA SF aside Jeff Green and Demarre Carrol. This is if we fall 3-5. Towns is a must pick

I wish but no way. That said there are guys all over the board who can be really good pros and maybe available with Houston's pick

Grant, Hollis-Jefferson, Dekker, Harrell

Okafor was very unimpressive against NBA level size, and that's supposed to be his bread and butter. Towns #1 all the way.

Only assets we have to get another lotto pick are Clarkson and the Houston pick.
So... no there's no way.

Ha ha! You are right about that!

However, the one joker has Winslow going 11th! And the other guy has him going 8th. I think Winslow leaves the board before Stanley Johnson so honestly I disagree with all 3 of these guys.

Actually I could live with Mudiay in a different year, but right now I feel we need more of a sure thing....Winslow or even Stanley Johnson would make me more comfortable but I admit to not knowing all that much about Mudiay.

So when Towns scores 25 against guys that are PF or SF size at the NBA level, and they aren't NBA players, he's easily #1?

Towns isn't projected to base most of his game from the post like Okafor is. I judge Okafor's games more harshly because of that.

That is one of the wilder mocks that I have seen.

So, you're judging Okafor more harshly because he's drawing far more double teams against an elite NCAA defensive team in Utah?

He wasn't double teamed on every single shot. I don't know what to tell you, I wasn't impressed when he was dealing with NBA size. And what game are you talking about? I'm talking about Gonzaga.

Well regarding today's game, Okafor wasn't really able to body players around like in that vid you posted. They didn't even really need to double team him, Gonzaga's bigs had Okafor uncomfortable both defensively and offensively. And with a guy who's game is focused so much on the post, I was left unimpressed. Okafor is a solid choice, but personally I just see more upside in a few other players.

I understand the upside.

I perceive Okafor's upside differently.

I was at work all day so I'm watching replay right now. So far? Great first 5 minutes.

Ya'll sleeping on Winslow. He's been beastin in the tourney so far. 3-4 years, he's the next Harden. He will improve his shot and handles of course. Pair him up with KD or Westbrook if they come.

Westbrook
Winslow
Randle

Good young trio.

to me he has the highest ceiling in terms of being a Center in the NBA..

I think we need a Center primarily and honestly after Town and Okafor...

I'd look at Cauley-Stein or Myles Turner...

Russell and Mudiay are cool though....
