BS - it doesn't come close to matching salaries.

This has been speculated on lately, the comment about it in todays LA Times probably didn't help - though it did give a sense that it WOULDN'T happen.

Your thread title makes it sound like a done deal.

A question mark would make it clear you aren't trying to mislead anybody.

By simply adding Rebraca to the deal, it works. Maggette, Livingston and Rebraca for Iverson.

I don't think it's for real. Just a rumor

Isn't this a little extreme for somebody reporting what the newsmedia is saying?

Yes I also heard that on AM710 here in LA. For the Clippers this is a no brainer, you've got to pull the trigger. They've been trying to move Maggette and his contract for a while now. Adding AI to go with Brand, Cassell, Kamam instantly vault them to a real contender to win the whole thing, not just the West. Livingston I'm not sold on, yes he has the size and the court vision, but at 19-20 years of age and never logged heavy minutes on the court, he's already having injury issues and back problem, that's not a good sign.

And easily the most posted-up backcourt the league has ever seen. All the Lakers would have to do is post up Kobe and let him go to work on either of those two dudes. The Clippers would get the bad end on this deal.

What's funny is that people on here would instantly trade Livingston, a proven young stud, who can and has contributed to Clipper victories not only in the regular season, but the playoffs as well, for an aging All-Star, but the believe Andrew Bynum is untradable, even for KG or Jermaine Oneil. That is ridiculous.

That was a very misleading thread topic ... you should have included "Trade Rumor" or "Speculation" in the title.

Your point stands on the assumption that Livingston is a 'stud' and Bynum is 'dud'.

Livingston > AI in 3 years and in 3 years Livingston will be like 23.

Livingston is the real deal. If Baylor pulls the trigger, he needs to give back his executive of the year award.

Iverson would fill some seats. It would be an interesting move in the short run.
