Almost seems like Jeremy is doing his farewell tour of the city before leaving the Lakers in the off-season.
Most players go home when the season is over....
I don't think its an indication of what he is going to do next.
Yeah, chances are that he'll probably leave to a new team, but you never know.
Thanks, you are the true Lin fan. _________________ "Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience." --Sarah Cook.
It turns out it's about a social media promotion event launched by the NBA for Fan Appreciation Day, with 24 players selected to host live interviews on each of the NBA's different official international social media accounts.
James Worthy is doing the UK, and Jeremy Lin will be unique in doing triple duty with 3 interviews for each of the China, Indonesia, and Taiwan official international facebook accounts of the NBA. Clarkson is doing the Phillipines. Assuming I'm correct in interpreting the pictures to correspond to interviews.

In addition, Canada will offer multiple live Q&A sessions with NBA veteran Ben Gordon and NBA Rookie of the Year favorite Andrew Wiggins. Los Angeles Lakers point guard and Linsanity originator Jeremy Lin will be the only NBA player pulling triple duty with three live Q&A sessions in China, Indonesia, and Taiwan. Australia and France’s participating players have not been announced yet, but will be on each country’s respective NBA Facebook page or twitter account (or weibo or whatever the local equivalent is).
He tweeted a picture of him out at a Long Beach event. The banner behind him says "Khmer." Is this connected to the PAIR charity thing he did in Houston? I remember his foundation doing a video with the Jubilee Project that involved a war refugee child from that part of the world.
I look up the @kgalb referenced in his tweet and it says:
"Khmer Girls in Action
Building a progressive and sustainable Long Beach community that works for gender, racial and economic justice led by Southeast Asian young women"
I wonder if this has any connection to the Khmer child from PAIR in Houston that he learned the Cambodian language for (those scenes of Chandler Parsons making fun of JLin memorizing Cambodian words from flash cards in that video were hilarious).
I wonder if the people at the Long Beach event were lobbying him to re-sign with the Lakers and stay in the area.

I hope we do re-sign him. I remember Kevin Ding wrote a piece that said Jeremy has had a great year off the court but not so much on it. Meaning, he had some difficulty with Byron that was pre-ASB. I sure hope we could get him to stay, though. Steer clear of Rondo and get a guy that can play when utilized correctly...
