This is a pretty touching story, and it's worth the 9 minutes.

(Sarcasm button on)

Stupid Make a Wish segments.

I hate them.

Curse you BSPN for always making me shed a tear (just a small one) over those poor kids.

(Sarcasm button off)

For real though. I'm not a cryer but those episodes get me emotional.

This video is so inspiring. It's nice to see a piece where Kobe isn't demonized.

Have you guys seen the addition video from espn website? It's really cool.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/features/mywish/news/story?page=mywish/index

then go to "Salvador Torres and Kobe Bryant" section, click on "Watch now".

My girlfriend saw it on TV and told me about it. She said her eyes watered, and made me wanna see it.

Good stuff man. Kobe seems like a really good person. And that kid has some damn good range. If he can beat Kobe in anything, I say he deserves a spot on our roster. Thumb wrestling.......anything. Great competative drive.

Kobe is very good with kids, made it a lot easier that the kid is pretty dang good so he didnt have to miss every shot on purpose

I heard that was going to be on Sportscenter and I stayed up for it. I thought it was interesting that they could not mention D&B when it was so obvious. Kobe was cool in giving him the toy car and all the freebies from the Lakers. Even the shoes autographed with his new number, thats going to be worth $$$ The kid deserved it and all the video they showed of him shooting, the kid could not miss. Unbelievable.

Why no response after I clicked? No vid, no another window. Does that have anything to do with firewall or software downloads? The content shows "javascript:void(0);".

Brought tears to my eyes. Kupcake just assigned a scout for Sal until he reach his high school.

A tough kid. Thank you, Mr. 24 for devoting your time with Sal. What a slap in hte face to BSPN and Tim Legler.
