arabic: definately cool, unusual, and would draw attention. it would also be a really good investment into the future, no matter what your field is.

portuguese: sounds beautiful. much more unusual than spanish. can be used to woo the beautiful people of brazil and portugual. capoeira!

german: interesting and intellectually appealing. would probably draw those people who like philosophy, literature and music. i think it'd be harder to use in conversation though; seems more like a reading-a-philosophical-tome type of language

bleh --

italian: way waaaaay overrated. too many people speak it/are learning it. difficult to compete with ACTUAL italian stallions if objective is to chase skirts. boring (imo) culture, mostly of the art history genre (yawn)

french: better than italian. sounds beautiful and is spoken widely (africa, caribbean) but you have to deal with the baggage that comes with french people/hierarchy of french speakers and learners who will judge your accent. johnny depp has lived in france forever and has said he's still embarrassed to speak french in public.

japanese: guys (ESPECIALLY white guys) who are obsessed with japan/japanese girls generally turn out to be weirdos. better to stick with chinese (less fetishy and much more useful)

chinese. It might not impress the chicks, but when you're super rich because you are bilingual in english and chinese, then maybe that'll impress them.
