I almost posted this last night in regards to Byron & the Showtime Cartel blaming the players for everything. |
Thank you
I think that the situation has regressed enough that it is no longer Byron, Worthy, Magic etc versus the players, but now it is Byron, Worthy, Magic etc versus the ownership - FO. |

So this man is going to set all the records of futility for this franchise in less than two seasons of coaching and management is just going to sit on their hands all day and pretend everything is well. This is a complete joke. |

Maybe they'll give him an extension. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

You can make the case that the Lakers are the worst franchise in all of sports now.
Reasons: Ownership stuck in the past. Archaic training camps. Worst coach of all time (statistically and development-wise). Anti-analytics. Aging star getting a whole season to himself. So many reasons to list. |

You might be right about ownership. But the archaic training camps, coach, anti-analytics, and aging star things are temporary. Neither Kobe nor Byron will be here after this season. _________________ LeBron, AD, & _________. Stay tuned.

Byron Scott was already a Loser before the Lakers hired him.
Before the Lakers hired Byron he had a coaching record of 416 - 521 that's a losing record percentage of only 44.3%.
Lakers hired a Loser from the very beginning.
Just because he "bleeds purple and gold" does not change the fact he's a loser and does not make him the right hire.
It's not surprising that Byron is still a loser, and is getting worse now at 466 - 623 and his percentage down to an NBA history low of 41.7%. |

Well who was excited when the first guys they interview are Dunleavy and Scott. At that point, I just felt a big pit in my stomach. |

Byron Scott only makes 50,000 dollars for every game he coaches, which amounts to about 1,000 bucks for every minute of game time. |

He has regained his standing as having the worst winning percentage amongst coaches with 1,000+ games, and if the Lakers go 8-18 or worse the rest of the year, he'll be further below .500 than any coach in history. |

Now we have the soon-to-be losingest coach in history. |
For Mike Brown...... Did they list Mike Brown's Coordinators? Or, did they list him, as Acting HC? Did you see the All-Star Game? Where do you think the idea came from, for players to sit on the Head Coach's stool? |

There's no way he doesn't become the worst coach in NBA history after this season. |

With a loss tonight, Byron will fall further below .500 than any coach in NBA history. |

I can deal with the losses. Every great young team struggles for the 1st couple years. My problem is he's not coaching them to play the right way and their learning bad habits. Byron deserves majority of the blame but it's not all him.
The vets are also a big reason why were losing. JC, DLO, and Randle have vets like Swaggy P and Lou as mentors. That is a recipe for disaster on and off the court. |

Byron is just scared of the other coaches. I don't know why a grown man is scared of someone else. |
