Germany dominated for large stretches of the game, but that penalty given at stoppage time before the half was the turning point. Not sure if it hit the arm, but Schweinsteiger should know better... shame really, because up to that point he was solid at the DM for the Germans.
If we do sign Pogba for £100m, that would be quite something. _________________ Character

Must be a coincidence that the French team has made the final of the last 3 major events where it was the host nation. Germany dominated them the entire first half with France putting together feeble counter-attack attempts. Of course, the refs ignore multiple fouls in the penalty area on Germany (in the first half), but they are quick to award the one and only questionable call in the penalty area to France. Hope Portugal beats their cheating asses. |

Disappointing for Portuguese fans and football fans in general. Could still go the distance though, I suspect France will get a late goal(s) like the first couple games in this tournament _________________ Character

So France can beat a world cup winning Germany team, but can't take care of a Portugal team without Ronaldo? Choke _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

This is what ruins football in general. It is a contact sport. Payet didn't go out to injure Ronaldo, in fact, it wasn't even a foul, just a good old physical tackle.
It's generally why I love the premier league as opposed to continental football, they play it like it should be played. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

Looks like the Pogba saga is all but over...

Intense days at Juventus, with the club that will welcome tomorrow Pjaca for medical visits. Meanwhile, as regards the midfield, continued the negotiations with Manchester United for Pogba . The will of the player and his entourage now seems clear, French moves away from Juventus even though the first of the Red Devils bid for the card of the class of 1993 Toppo was judged low. The Bianconeri want to at least 120 million, money that would then be invested not only to complete the attack but also to find his own replacement in midfield.
Juventus, in fact, will not be unprepared in case of Pogba departure and for this has already started to look around. Among the names that filter from the company are in the foreground those of André Gomes , class of 1993 European champion with her Portugal and owned by Valencia and Nemanja Matic (1988) Chelsea. Concerning the first, it is a profile already followed in the past weeks and on which there is also the Real Madrid - with which, however, has not been found yet the understanding. The second, however, like to Antonio Conte, although the will of the player would be to leave London. Not only staying in Serie A, also like Marcelo Brozović Inter, Croatian 1992 the company estimates and follows with great interest; Finally, they are also followed Axel Witsel - departing from Zenit but with the uncertain future - and Moussa Sissoko, born in 1989 relegated with Newcastle and protagonist of Euro 2016 with his France.
The last two names do not completely convince the Juventus management, which judges them alternatives to the first choice. It expects to understand what the future of Pogba and if it were to materialize the transfer to Manchester United, Juventus will move on one of these players. Not only strikers then, the Bianconeri are also working to give a new midfielder to Massimiliano Allegri. |

Bleep me, he IS special. I must admit, I never liked the dude but you can't argue with what he's doing. Knows how to pick players, knows how to put them on the pitch, and they do whatever the bleep he's asking them to do. What more can you ask from a manager? Just close your mouth and everything will be fine.
Can you imagine Pogba and Mkhitaryan in place of Fellain and Mahta? scary.
Oh yea, and I love Luke shaw. Awesome left back, so natural. _________________ It's winnin' time! |
