Yup. What's new? Kazmir sucks but, Doyers really giving it to the Reds right now after almost pissing away the lead. Homers by Toles, Segedin, Seager and A-gon! Doyers up 12-5 |
That was a crazy inning. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Yard party today, great for the team that A-Gon seems to be getting his power back, hopefully that's his back injury from earlier totally healed now. _________________ Lakers, Chargers, Dodgers, Arsenal FC.

18 runs. Who are these guys?
We literally have 3 major league caliber starting pitchers right now (Uriahs/Maeda/and hesitatingly-Kazmir). Let's sign infielder this time. A's got a spare one laying around? |

Kazmir has neck and back issues he will be examined by team doctors tomorrow. He will probably go on the DL. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Sometime back, maybe a month ago or so, someone was wondering what the Dodgers were going to do with all their starters once they all get healthy. . . .

Top 3 in NL after today. ESPN doesn't include the day's game. Seager's sitting at .326 after today's 4 for 5 outing (159hits on 488 ab's). |

I'm embarrassed I was one of those calling him washed up. I think Leor77 was his biggest advocate early in the season and rightly so. Good on him. |

.326? Are you sure? I do believe we get to count the 4 for 5 only once. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

Well, whether any of us said it or not, many, if not most, had to be thinking it. Nice to be wrong sometimes, isn't it? _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |

Yeah. Count the at bat's for this month. ESPN shows today's game log on the list but it isn't tabulated in the totals. It shows him with 25 hits on 72 at bats in August. Manually adding it up he's at 29 on 77. I don't know why they don't auto update since it seems like a simple script should do it. Could be that all the sites wait until the day's end for any error corrections?
*edit* - Okay I just went over manually adding every at bat lol. You are right. He's at 155 hits on 483 at bats (which includes the 29 on 77 in August). For some reason, the hits in August line doesn't include today's game but the season totals do. |

From what I've found, ESPN does update totals on their MLB leaders stat page, and very timely I might add--except WAR, which is pulled from BaseballReference--but not the individual's yearly stats (???). BaseballReference, which does not update until sometime very late or very early in the morning (likely), has Corey at 151 for 522, hitting .316, which I suspect is what he started the day at.

Because ex-A/Ray/Brave/Marlins pitchers shouldn't be the only ones to join in on the injury fun.

Quote: | Josh Reddick's short stint with the Dodgers has not gone according to plan so far. He's hitting .152 in 17 games since coming over from the Athletics at the trade deadline, and he had to be scratched from Monday's lineup with a jammed finger.
How did Reddick jam his finger, you ask? Apparently he got it caught in the door while ordering room service on Sunday. |
This has gone from horrifying to sad to hilarious. Basically, if you're a player formerly scouted by this former regime, you'll hit the injury list and become a Dodger. Frankly, I've had it with this FO. The honeymoon is over and it's time to can them before they complete this team's assimilation into A's-South/Rays-West. _________________ http://media.giphy.com/media/zNyBPu5hEFpu/giphy.gif

I'm hearing people saying Ryu will never be the same again and may not contribute again for the Dodgers. Can somebody explain to me why? I know he had surgery and had setbacks this year, but even if he takes the rest of the season off to heal, he won't be ready for the next two seasons? I know he had his left shoulder labrum repaired, not too sure on how that effects pitchers though... |

1 more off-season for me. I'd (bleep)-can the entire lot of them if it's a repeat of the last two. No more. |

I heard speculation--I don't know if this is well-founded or not--that Tommy John surgery might be necessary, which could end all of next season as well. _________________ "A metronome keeps time by using a Ringo" |
