To be fair, Deng has also been borderline awful to start out and I legitimately wonder if he would have guarded PG any better than DLO did (who did a great job). Luke mentioned post game he wanted to get Randle to rotate onto PG but he avoided it.
Well, Deng has length, and that makes a big difference. Too easy for taller player to shoot over the top of a point guard.

How concerned out of 10 should I be about Luke's rotations this early in the season? Not harping on it, just really don't know how to evaluate this yet because I'm not a basketball wizard.

I wouldn't worry at all right now. When he was coaching the Warriors they had a lot of tools, but he knew exactly what each could do and could not do. He was able to use them all and play to their strengths without issue. Right now, he's trying to figure out what he's got and what they'll give him in certain situations.

He has done a pretty good job of keeping people on the floor when they're playing a good game. It's barely November. The rotations will be in flux for a while, I'm sure, and there will be a lot of issues as young guys can make you look pretty bad with their inconsistency...but you got to give them some room to fail/succeed. And we don't exactly have consistent impact vets anywhere on the roster, either.

This right here. It amuses me that someone people in some of the player threads would always harp about how awful the said player is.

Thanks, DB.
