It's pretty hard to win a championship these days unless you're building around an MVP level star. Landing or developing someone like that is crap shoot with big odds against you. With 30 teams in the league it's even hard to win a championship with the MVP level star. With all that unfortunately, I had to pick 2027 or after period but I hope we get lucky

2018- pg13 or cousins signs.. or not, doesnt matter because kobe mentors ingram into a beast, zubac dominates the paint and hits 3s. showtime lakers are back. 8th seed loss in 7 against houston
2019- 5th seed, advance to 2nd round over minny but lose to portland on a lillard game winner
2020- 4th seed, lose in wcf to denver
2021- 2nd seed, defeat phoenix in wcf but lose in finals against bucks
2022- championship against bucks
2023- championship against 76ers
2024- championship against knicks
