One of Trump's Evangelical Board finally resigns
Says he "stepped away" months ago but just recently publically resigned over a "conflict in values".
Oh and Carl Ichan stepped down as advisor to Trump today but only because of his busy schedule and to avoid partisan bickering.

This is one of Sasse's points on some of his constituents: Quote: | But they have ZERO uncertainty about a choice between a Trump who would defend statues of Washington and Jefferson, and a national media elite who they assume would not defend monuments to Washington and Jefferson. |
Has there been anyone in the mainstream media that has advocated tearing down statues of Washington or Jefferson? Trump made the claim and most of the media called him out on it, saying Lee and Jefferson Davis are NOT the same as the Founding Fathers.
That's the issue I have with the Trump supporters on this and many points. Trump spews some falsehood and somehow they believe it. And he's spewed lies over and over so why believe him. If they are getting all their info from Fox and talk radio then they need to get out of their bubbles. I've heard many on the Left say they have issues with the Jim Crow era statues of the Confederacy, no one has issues with Washington or Jefferson that I have seen or heard. Has any politician said, yeah tear down statues of George Washington too? So it's a false narrative these folks are upset about, that their vote would be between Trump and some "elite" candidate who wants to tear down the Washington Monument. Even Sasse says "a national media elite who they assume..."
And that's on top of proud racists who want to "preserve" the history of Lee, et al. while shouting Nazi slogans and carrying KKK symbols.
The ignorance is astounding.
And if Sasse wants to be one of the good guys, why not point out that false narrative, tell the folks that express that concern to him that no one is pulling down Washington's statues, that is just Trump crap. Write on Facebook about the Presidents lies and correct what these folks assume. Otherwise it is just hand-wringing and not helpful. _________________ “There is always light if only we're brave enough to see it, if only we're brave enough to be it.” --Amanda Gorman |

Ironic, the anti-political correctness crowd had to come up with a politically correct name for themselves. They did a good job, though, gotta give them that. |

they did more than a good job. Not only the term alt-right mask the racists as extreme right... aka extreme conservatives (lies) but it also got them a president who legitimize that lie by putting them in the us vs them (us meaning GOP tent) |

If US Politics was Game of Thrones. I think Mueller would be Bran.
You forget about him for episodes. But there is a chance he can learn something that changes/saves the world.
I will say it's interesting that all these Russian connected people are slowly getting expelled from the White House. The conspiracy theorist in me wonders if Mueller is turning these guys 1 by 1. And Bannon is the next in line. I'm sure it would be alot easier for Bannon to cooperate with the investigation if he's out of the WH. Bannon had to know he'd be fired for that interview after Mooch was just fired for the same thing.
There is no evidence for my conspiracy. But I do wonder. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Apparently Bannon was told he was out two weeks ago, so that interview may have been no more than a parting shot or prep for his return to Briebart. It was the first interview we had from him in a while, so my assumption it was strategic knowing he was leaving soon. _________________ LakersGround's Terms of Service

I was at the back with the extremely peaceful, happy people! It was hot and crowded. About 40,000 of us and about 50 of the alt-right people. We never even saw them from where I was. Cops did a good job keeping lots of distance. There are always a few knuckleheads who do dumb stuff, but there were no major incidents that I saw. It seemed 99% positive and peaceful. |

The Electoral College outcome doesn't erase the reality of the numbers in regards to the popular vote.
