I genuinely believe that the extra weight he put on during the offseason has affected his shot. Maybe it was better to stay skinny. His body frame isn't meant to support a bigger body. I think we broke Ingram. _________________ Playoffs is good enough. - Jeanie Buss 2024

If Kuzma can develop elite handles he'll be a star at the very least. |

I think there's something to this. He may be training too hard. |

Maybe it's the training but I doubt it's the weight. He still looks wispy out there. |

1st string Defense was vastly improved tonight.
2nd string D still had a lot of lapses in effort, but they appeared to be working harder _________________ LBJ + AD = More rings

Right. Why does he insist on going to the basket when theres 3 guys waiting for him? |
Probably because he can't shoot off the dribble yet. Spot up wise his shot is better, and when he has a chance to square himself he can hit the shot.
But his jumper coming around a screen, or off a curl where he could just pull up and shoot is lacking, and he still struggles with and knuckleballs it.
Which is why we should stop acting like Ingram is our next offensive iso star, we should be trying to find him off ball on cuts to the basket, or off screens for spot ups.
But the more they try to act like Ingram is the next KD the worse he's going to continue to look. |
He was actually hitting those pull up shots from 15-20 post all star break last season, and was actually fairly deadly from that range. His touch seems to have disappeared. I wonder if it's because he has reworked his shot? |
