Well it seems like the team like him, listen to him and they all seems to get along together so what's the problem ? Pop may not paintball with his players but he's known to be close to his players, to protect them.... |

Totally ridiculous. It would have been enough to pull him to the sideline and and tell him what he should or shouldn’t be doing else be benched. Absolutely unnecessary to actually pull him out of the game and lose the hot streak.
I can’t recall any coach who benches players when they’re hot as often as Luke does. He did the same thing to Zo a couple of games ago. It’s silly and someone has to call him out on it. |

Taking playing time from a player is a very effective tool in disciplining them. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I like how Luke handled the Lavar question. Said that "that's" not what we're here for, and that they want to focus on basketball (and then praising Lavar for how he raised Lonzo)...Basically, just brushing it off. |

We can create better opportunities via ball movement now, although not consistent yet. We can play decent defense now, although not focus enough at times. The team is playing in a more organized way and playing in a modern way now. With the development of our young players and confidence gained, the future looks bright. |
The defense has improved leaps and bounds, so has the ball movement. These are things Luke has been preaching since day one and he deserves credit for the strides the team has made.
I too have questioned his acumen when it comes to Xs and Os, but I think there's something to be said by letting a young team play a little looser and not bogging them down with set plays every time down the court. You've got a team starting two rookies and a 20-year-old second-year player. Easing them along isn't a bad idea and so far I think the results have been solid. |

You mean Lukes butt buddies?
Is it normal? Do Messina and Udoka go wine painting with Pop and the players?
Just wondering if its the exception or the rule for the coach and staff to hang out like one of the players on team events.
My gut says no but I really don't know for sure. |

No doubt, but it's the timing of that move that can be so counterproductive. Unless his defense was horrible, it seems more idea to discipline him as you go, don't just jerk his chain while he's being productive. |

Bill Belichick has orchestrated impromptu trips to bowling alleys and the movie theater for his players and coaching staff.
So no, it's not out of the norm. |

Almost cost us the game. Bulls got full momentum after that substitution. Luke's rotations are trash |

No, not at all. The timing was fine, you don’t want to discipline him after a bad streak, the message of “why” might get lost. I don’t know about last night but in the previous game it wasn’t bad defense, it was not playing team ball offensively. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I disagree.
Score was 15-13 Lakers, at the 5:36 mark in the 1st when Kuzma went out.
Lakers actually had the lead at the 2:20 mark in the 1st 21-20.
I think the mo turned when Clarkson came in for Ball at the 2:52 mark with the Lakers down 19-20 at that point. That's when Blakeney who had come in at the 4:58 mark started his run of 15 points into the 2nd quarter pushing the lead to 41-26 in the 2nd quarter until Ball and Pope came in at the 8:30 mark.
Blakeney didnt score again the rest of the game. |

Luke might be the guy before the guy. Del Harris, Mark Jackson, SVG, etc...
We shall see. He could also be Spols. |

Luke's rotations will be too costly to win any championships so I imagine he might just be here to develop players until we get a real coach. _________________ Darvin Scam: https://media.tenor.com/images/3c15249955860a4b16b59e8ae035fb75/tenor.gif |

Like someone said the other day, fans ALWAYS complain about rotations, even Spurs fans... |

Two names.
Lopez/Bogut.
Discuss because I can't come up with any good reason for that. |

You can't make this up.
He's so bad. |

Yeah that was weird especially when Brook can't shoot to save Robin's life. |

Brook is literally costing us the game and Luke keeps leaving him out there yet when Kuzma starts getting a little trigger happy (although making them) he pulled him.
This game is on Luke and Brook. |
