Yes that would be a dumb move. The only person they should trade Margette for with the Heat is Wade. And of course that would be a dumb move by the Heat also. I'm sure this is just Heat wanting Margette this wont become nothing. |

It seems like Maggette is rumored to every team is the guy that bad or something? hes been the only bright spot for the Clippers pathetic play.

He is a very good player. I'm not sure that the Clippers are trying to trade Maggette. They were last year and almost got Artest if Maggette wasn't injured. This year might be more of teams offering stuff for maggette, but who knows whats real and whats a made up rumor by some fan wanting Maggette. Maggette is very talented I wouldn't say he has a high basketball IQ. Also rumor is that he doesn't like to come off the bench but I haven't heard him complain recently. Ross has taking his starting spot since he is a very good defender and is improving in other ways also. |

The Clips may be really eyeballing Earl Barron, Wayne Simien or even Dorrell Wright. By giving up Corey they lose quite a bit, but if they can get maybe Posey or Walker and 2 of the 3 (Barron/Simien/Wright) then they might have stole something from the Heat.

I don't think that would be a good trade for the Clipps at all at all...but hey, I can't be too much of a Clipper fan right now, since they jeopardize The Lakers chances nowadays.....I liked them a lot better when they sucked, so I didn't feel bad rooting for them!
However, it does make some sense that they might move him, since they've had Quinton Ross starting and getting more time than him ever since he got hurt last year. I guess they don't have space for both....but to take (bleep) Walker n Posey would just make it worst to me. |
