Fantastic live. Not just O'Riordan but the whole band. Particularly drummer Fergal Lawler.

I can remember where I was driving the first time I heard Linger. Something there that just caught me. Zombie was always nice and Delores' haunting ending vocals got totally nicked by Rhianna in Umbrella. Great album cuts too.

This one hits me deeper than I would have expected.

RIP

Their cover of Stairway with Zeppelin's surviving members in attendance is one of my favorites.

Love, love, love me some Heart. My first exposure to them was with their hits in the 80's and 90's, and then when I heard "Magic Man" and "Barracuda", and found out that was Heart, too? Yeah, they are great.

Correct. They have always been considered great rockers by fans and fellow artists alike . . . period.

I'm not saying the women in Heart weren't great musicians, but I didn't just pull that male/female claim out of my butt. I've seen Ann Wilson comment about that stereotype on a behind the music style doc. Maybe it wasn't as transparent in the 80s as the 70s, but the 70s were a different time. They were having tennis matches back then to prove equality. Ann once had a creep radio/exec guy back then who called her sister "your lover" to her face. Lita Ford has said the same thing when she was in a band with Joan Jett and other women. Pat Benatar slapped some exec who had her tank top cropped on her breakthru album cover to make it appear she was nude. Male rock fans and industry guys are and were dicks. They're good for a bunch of chics, but they're no, RATT. RATT 'N ROLL!!!1
