LET'S GO OVER 30 THIS YEAR! |
We are 51 games in. If we go .500 the rest of the way we get to around 35 wins. That is a win for this team I think. |
.400 is 33 wins.
35 wins would be amazing. It's do-able. |
Let's get to 35! They can do it... |

And took out KCP when he wasn't doing anything. And put Brook back in at the end and posted him. |
If he only did this at the start we’d have a few more wins |
Save for the egg we laid in Orlando...where are these additional wins you speak of? _________________ "If You're Afraid To Fail...Then You're Probably Going To Fail."

Dude I think you're forgetting about the abysmal Ingram/MWP/Deng/Randle/Mozgov lineup Luke rolled out last year vs. the Jazz.
What was impressive about yesterday is that the team executed the way that an Ingram at point forward lineup is gonna work: push push push push. |

BI only had a pace of 99.5 though.
Corey, JC, Kuz and Larry had pace higher than 100.
Everyone else was under 98.
I'd actually be upset at a point BI led offense.
He makes such slow decisions for the most part, imo |

I don't think that contradicts my point.
A team that, say, doesn't push at all but always shoots with 6 seconds on the clock (average use: 18 seconds of the clock) will have a higher pace than a team that pushes and gets shots with 16 seconds left on the clock 25% of the time, but has 1 second on the clock 75% of the time (average use: 19.25 sec of the clock).
But we'd still say the latter team was the one pushing the ball. It's just their half court offense stalled. Obviously this is a trivial example, but the point remains that it's possible the Lakers did push the ball and that's why they had reasonable offensive success with BI on the court yesterday while simultaneously their half court offense was so stagnant that their overall pace wasn't *that* high.
BTW where'd you get individual player pace data? nba.com? |

Yep. NBA.com players advanced.
Then you can select team and/or specific games. |

Good call on putting Hart in the starting line-up Coach! This is the sort of adjustments we want to see. |

Still some issues, but he has the team playing well, particularly on defense. We were very sketch the first couple games after Zo's recent knee sprain, but we've bounced back strong. Good stuff. |

Not starting scrubs for the sake of rotations and labels. Utilizing Randle's strenghts by calling plays for him and making room. What is going on? Despite still not being able to handle full court blitz, Luke has been giving me less to complain about these days.
Hey it took you guys awhile as an organization, but what do you know, Randle is a real lottery pick. Use him, use his strengths, don't mess around with him as 6th man and stuff, and you're developing a building block. What are you going to do now? Keep him or go chasing waterfalls? |

Now, that we're starting to have leads at the end of games, time to start running drills to teach guys how to handle that.
I imagine they spent a lot more time during training camp teaching them how to run a press than how to beat a press
Still, not bad for the youngest team in the league |

Maybe Luke is a little responsible for that near late game collapse, but I think it was mostly on JC (and BI and Jules going 1/4 from the FT line) + refs refusing to call fouls and giving OKC a better chance to force the turnover. |

LAL struggled in Orlando, and Luke Walton responded by putting Hart into the starting line up and moving Ingram to PG. Lakers then beat both BKN and OKC, Hart notching a pair of point-rebound double-doubles, and Ingram totaling 15 assists.
Props to Luke! |

Better job from Luke lately. Took him too long to bench Ennis but finally got it. |

Looks like LaVar was right after all. It’s obvious that Luke’s lost the team. This is how a team plays when the coach has lost the team, clearly. _________________ “Christ did not die to forgive sinners who go on treasuring anything above seeing and savoring God. And while Luke is completely lost, Lavar is showing to the world his amazing coaching skills in the BBB league in Lithuania. You won Lavar !!!! |

This might be me being greedy, but he needs to not play Brewer any minutes. Guys like Hart, Clarkson, and Kuzma deserve them more. |

The @Lakers improve to 6-0 since the start of the new year in games in which the score is within 5 at any point in the final 5 minutes. That's the best such record in the NBA in that time. |

Luke is doing a good job not playing Ennis and he is keeping KCP out as much as he can, while allowing KCP be satisfied with the minutes he receive. |

This team has gradually improved in many areas this season:
- offense
- defense
- close out game
- play through injuries
Besides, many players spark in this stretch Kuzma, Ingram, Ball, JC, Randle, Hart. That’s very nice. |
