Minny has athletes and can score but their defense is very vulnerable.
This is a winnable game. Let's do it LA! |

I'm starting to wonder if we got a lemon. Games he missed ankle sprain, shoulder sprain and MCL sprain. He's already missed 21 games. Look at BI, JR, Kuzma and Hart. They have been healthy. Except for JR's first season he has hardly missed any games. Same with BI. Something to be concerned about. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.

I'm starting to wonder that just a bit myself. He is still really young though so he has time to get stronger. _________________ one dog goes that way the other dog goes the other way |

His Dad is a personal trainer and he is used to his Dad training him his whole life. Now he has new trainers and maybe that messed him up a little. Did he have an injury problems in HS or at UCLA? _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

I would not worry, none of the injuries are serious and he could be playing now if the games mattered. Just makes too much sense to rest him over the whole ASB. JR missed a whole season and he has been fine ever since. None of Lonzo's injuries are chronic. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Do we know if his injuries are chronic?
All we know is that he's missed 21 out of 57 games (37% of total games). _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yeah & I'm starting to wonder how long it will take Lonzo to leave his daddy's pouch & break away from daddy's suggestive big mouth. Magic may have blown this pick & put to much non-value on this kid. Comparison to J. Kidd says it all, I for one in todays game don't want a Kidd, I want & we needed a shooter/scorer. The way these rookies are playing they all should have stayed in school & I'm fine with a player like Kuzuma who was NBA ready.
All these one yr & done kids should stay in school & learn the game & life there than after junior yr be able to come out. Blame Stern & everyone else not the kids who dream of it & want millions of $$$$$$$ That's sports now-a-days!!! Sad............ Develop in 3 yrs at college or suffer 3 yrs in pro's & get paid, that's the M.O. _________________ My Laker squad.

Has he had this same injury on his leg prior to this year?
Not sure how else you would label it chronic?
Unless you're saying this injury is going to become chronic?
Do sprains become chronic?
He hasn't missed regular season games for his ankle sprain and calf strain.
He's missed 6 games with the shoulder injury. Would you consider that one a fluke? He's missed 15 games with the MCL sprain. He's said if it were a playoff game he would play. Remember when Steph sprained his in the playoffs in 2016. He came back in 2 weeks. But did he look like the same Steph? I'd go as far as to say, the Warriors lost to the Cavs because of that (along with the Green suspension and Bogut injury of course).
Is the team being overly cautious? I think so. Should they be? I think they should. Are there things to worry about? Without all the information yes, any injury that takes away this many games would raise eye brows. If he comes back and plays the first game out of the all-star break and doesn't have any issues, should we be comforted? I would be.

It's a lot of maladies that are preventing him from playing. Low pain tolerance? Who knows. But he's a cornerstone guy and we need better durability from him or our future is in trouble a bit. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

That's something to think about.
If he's going the MCW or Dante Exum route, that would be disastrous.
If this were year 2 and he was missing games while being in a playoff hunt, then I'd be more worried. |

That's the thing. If I'm a FA and hoping to depend on Lonzo in a long playoff run, does the fact that these assortment of random injuries are keeping out of nearly 40% of the games in his rookie year make me rethink about whether he's ready to help me now? I didn't expect him to miss so many games his rookie year. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

If he comes back and plays the rest of the year, would a FA be OK with Lonzo playing 74% of the games his rookie year? |

Sidenote: would you be happy if Lonzo told his dad to "humble yourself" and "take a sit?" |
