Lonzo still can't throw a pea in the ocean so until he can BI>Kuz>Lonzo |
I disagree.
Lonzo can throw a pea in the ocean. Most likely the Pacific ocean. |
I challenge you guys to stand on the beach or a pier and try to throw peas, one by one, into the ocean. They're so light the wind will blow them right back into your face |
Technique matters.
You don't throw them instead you squat, extend your arm and simply let go. It'll make it into the ocean |

And that could be us if we start to deprioritize the younger core players. |

I think Wolves fans want Thibs fired. I don’t see Walton making those same mistakes. |

None yet. That’s why it “could” happen to us “if” we do that. |

If we can sign PG and re-sign Randle, and if Kawhi doesn’t come next season,I honestly wouldn’t be opposed to just using the space to create the best bench in the nba around Kuz and Hart. With PG, Ingram, Randle, kuz that’s a legit 4 guys with potential to drop 20+ppg a night. Plus we’d already be a good defensive team, maybe it would be more synergistic to fortify the bench with legit guys. |

Just feels like something that doesnt have to be said. I doubt other GMs are thinking "The Lakers probably think all their young guys are untouchable, so let's not even both to call them." Can't our young guys have one offseason not feeling expendable by their team? |

We’ll see where his defense is at, until then I like him as our go to scorer off the bench |

I like Kuz. I do remember when we had Larry Nance as a rookie and all he needed to do was add a 3 point to go with that amazing defense. He never worked on his game, never improved and now he’s gone. Until I see that Kuzma isn’t a finished product Im not confident he’s isn’t a bench player. |

Love all these claims by posters that Kuz will "refuse to accept" coming off the bench. |

Two summers in a row now Laker management telling guys not to get comfortable. They aren't down with missing the playoffs. You better be working because you don't have time to spare. Always felt part of the reasoning behind the Russell deal was to show they mean business. Not uncommon for new management to do such a thing to get people's attention. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Man, I hope to see some big improvements from Kuz, especially on D. It'll be so disappointing if he stagnates like Clarkson did after that great rookie season. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Larry improved and he worked on his game. The issue is that most guys who enter the pros after four years in college can't change their games, they just get better at their strengths.
Kuzma's intriguing because his game has already changed between college and the pros. He may be one of those rare late bloomers. |

My ranking for our young core is
Ingram > Ball > Kuzma = Randle > Hart
To trade for Towns, I would be willing to give up Ingram + Hart + a future 1st round pick.
I think some people here are really underrated Towns. He is 22 years old and is already a star in this league. He still has flaws but it is ridiculous to think he can't improve them.
Most importantly, we would be able to have a lineup of
Ball
PG13
LBJ
Kuzma
KAT
The spacing of this lineup would make our offense unstoppable. |

I'd say yes to that but I have it:
BI>Ball>Hart>Kuz>Randle
I would rather trade (Ball or BI) and Kuz with a first
Ball.
Hart.
PG13.
Randle.
Towns.
Or:
Hart
Ingram
PG13
Randle
Towns
Either Ball or Ingram can run point depending on who we trade. |

#32 is not afraid to put his name on anything, so i question this whole thing. Someone could have asked a laker towel boy who they would give up for Khawai and he/she probably said anyone. This is pure click bait IMO. |

Not nearly enough, with the Suns saying they would entertain offers for the number on pick, Minny might be wise to offer them Towns, then take Ayton and just keep going...
I'm thinking Minny would want both Ingram & Kuz and more for Towns..! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |
