Interesting.
Listening to the podcast with Channing Frye/Richard Jefferson, seems the Lakers (and other players) love Kuz's character and drive too. Seems BI/Lonzo are more reserved. |
In the exit interviews, Kuzma addressed him taking a leadership role by saying something along the lines of "Brandon said 10 words all year and Lonzo is 14 years old", which is probably accurate in spirit. I don't know who's gonna be named as a captain aside from LeBron though, I'm just speaking in terms of the dynamic that I saw between all of those guys. |
Yeah. It's easy to see that. BI isn't a vocal guy. Would love to see a BI/KL 1 hour long conversation.
Lonzo is just a kid. Super talented but he was a teenager last year.
More likely LBJ + another "veteran." |
I like the mix between the veteran (LBJ) and a young guy...
How these things are usually decided in NBA teams ? The coach or the players themselves ? |

Interesting insight. Kuz definitely seems like the alpha of our young talent. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Interesting take, I'd love to see Kuzma stepping up to that role, but I think him starting or coming off the bench may be a key factor in all of this. _________________

It's gonna be interesting to see how well Ingram and Kuz both play during preseason and how well they mesh with Bron. It's going to be between those 2 for who starts.
As of right now my tentative starting lineup is:
Lonzo
KCP
Ingram
Lebron
Javale |

It may be solely b/c Kuz was a 27th pick and not #2. I know it's an artificial line that's drawn, but the innate qualities tend to come out regardless of draft position. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

They are probably paying respect on the fact that he gave Paul George a lot of fit in the 1st round, he also shot a absurd 43% from 3, but that shouldn’t be a reason to give him the nod, cause Ingram has also played and caused problems for PG since he came to the league. |

I think kuzma is an allstar in the making. Eddie. Johnson career Laker hater says kuzma is an allstar. He said and im paraphrasing that Kuzma was relentless when it came to scoring he said it didnt matter if he was having a bad night he kept shooting. That his agression show him that he's gonna be a 5 or 6 time allstar. _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

I think Tatum being too high is the most obvious mistake. _________________ “When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

I think he looks bigger, but still far from solid - so it’s hard to see if you’re not looking hard |

I can see the arguement for Tatum having a better rating, but how does D’Angelo Russell have a 83 over BI who is at 81? Makes me not want to buy the game. |
How is it that Brandon Ingram has no badges. |

But didn't Luke say that the guys followed BI. When he spoke up guys listened. When the mid-season turn around occurred, it was him.who spoke up and held everyone accountable? I think Kuzma is a bit too much of a joker at times and you can take some of what he says with a grain of salt. |

After two full seasons more of development, Brandon Ingram will be going to the off season as only being 22 years old.
He will be a 5 year NBA veteran, and will be going into that off season being a 23 year old.
Look at the rate he's getting better at, think about that. _________________ “Life is too short. You have to keep it moving.” - Kobe |

Tatum rated 87 in 2K, while Ingram and Kuzma are 81 & 80.
Gotta love media hype!! No way Tatum is 6 ratings better than Ingram. |

I'm wondering when Kuz, Ingram, and Ball shet on everybody this upcoming season will they actually get credit for being as good as they are. Or will the media say it's because of Bron.. Also wondering if our own posters will say it's because of Bron. |

Does BI have the potential to be a future all-team defensive player? He has all the tools to be like his player comp Tayshaun on the def end. _________________ Tacos |

More important numbers, 52, 59, and 99 (including playoffs)
Games played by Lonzo, Ingram and Tatum respectively during the 17-18 season. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |
