Absolutely love this kid! If we can keep our core and add KL next season, we are going to dominate for years.

Honestly I believe Klay is the Free Agent we land next summer

nah he wants to stay a Warrior and it looks like he is flexible on his future deal. If the Warriors decide to let go of one of their big 4, its going to be Draymond.

That’s a Loooooooong shot but then again I didn’t expect Lebron to be here without a star in place.

I think (if he makes it through the season healthy) that Jimmy Butler is most likely.

People going "he's gonna go to the Knicks to form a Superteam with Kyrie!!!" I think the Celtics if healthy, make The Finals this year, and I see Kyrie re-upping, and I don't see Butler staying with the T'Wolves. So I think the Lakers are the obvious choice. I believe it was years ago the Bulls threw that big offer to Butler because he hinted at going to The Lakers.

Just thinking about this. LeBron seems to like Kuz, wondering if he would ask/tell Luke to put him in the starting lineup? Luke would of course have to listen but if this happened what would the lineup look like? I could see

Zo
Kuz
B.I
Bron
Mcgee

If Lebron wants Kuz in the lineup, you bet your ass he gonna be in the lineup.

Some of those moves were reminding me of a 6’9 Bradley Beal
If his jumper and his handle improve a bit from last season, kid is a 20ppg problem

A 2018-19 20 ppg Laker whose last name isn't James would be a great problem to have.

I'm imagining Harden trying to use a screen to find a mismatch against that lineup.

We have some great options on both sides of the court. I don't think it's going to be fair once Luke settles on a rotation.

I hope so. Big fan of Klay, hopefully his old man is in his ear trying to get him here.

I'd be ecstatic if Klay is my top choice for next summer. I also wouldn't be surprised if he's plan A

Assuming he's 100% healthy, you'd choose him over KL ?

I think they are closer than people think, the questions we will find out this year is

1) KL health

2) Is he still a top 5 player outside of Pops system

Klay is a better bet to age better, and I think he fits LeBron and LAL like a glove

If he can improve his 3 point percentage to somewhere around 40 percent and increase his free throw percentage to 80-85% he could very easily avg 20ppg and get 6th man of the year.

So what do you think the starting line-up will be? The odds on favorite is:

Lonzo
KCP
Ingram
Lebron
JaVale

The best argument for Kuz would be starting him at 4 so LEbron can start at 3. I guess this is a possibility:

Lonzo
Ingram
Lebron
Kuzma
JaVale

He was unknowingly decorated by Banksy and saw all that when he woke up.

You can make a great case for either of them as starters. The only thing that's a shoe in is the fact that it'll be one of them. Kuz is a lower usage player and more proven shooter at this point, which the first unit will be in dire need of with Lonzo and McGee out there. But then again, it would be great to have one additional player in the half court who can get his own shot and create for others, especially since LeBron will spend significant time in the post. That's BI.

Can't say I'm married to the idea of either one starting. The biggest factor will be which one plays better when they share the court with LeBron, and how the starting lineup clicks overall. I wouldn't be surprised if Luke tries out both lineups during preseason.

It’s so interesting bout who could start. Either way we’ll have 4 players in the lineup who can generate shots one way or another - even KCP can come off screens, I mean. Zo would be only other assist guy if Kuz starts...and Kuz would take pressure of Lebron just by being able to get shots in the flow, or create his own. Ingram has operated less in the flow, but is a better passer. In a vacuum , Kuz is the better fit with Lebron. Will also be interesting to see how Kuz & Ingram improve defensively.

Honestly, if Ingram can’t hit about 35% on 4 3s per, I’m not in love with him in the starting lineup at all. We have a chance to be an offense with a seemless flow into good shots, Kuz is great w that, and even has a chance to enhance that with gravity.
