I decided to take this one off after watching the first few minutes. Turnovers early on were ridiculous. They got blown out very early. They had a run in the second quarter that helped them stay in touch with the Sixers, but just not enough fire power to get back into this one after falling back big. Ingram, at least, had a huge night.
Ingram -- -- After a tentative start where the passing was off and the offense was clunking as we turned it over a ton, BI finally got into transition more and the points began to flow. He had 22 points on 10-13 shooting at the half. That included multiple dunks on the break, even throwing down an And-1 over his former teammate, Corey Brewer (then talking trash and avoiding a tech somehow). He’s deadly in transition with defenders unable to compete against his length when he's going downhill. In the half court, he started to feel it and broke a defender down off multiple dribbles before hitting the short one in that half. Very impressive. In the second half, the pull-up jumper was money and under control. He was stroking it. Just looked automatic every time he took it tonight. It felt like he wasn't rushing anything and playing under control. I think that translated to the jumper. He worked his way to an efficient career-high 36 points on 16-20 shooting tonight.
Others -- -- McGee had some moments of energy, but some braindead defensive stands…but looked more like the McGee from earlier this season. We haven’t see that for a while. Rondo some uncharacteristic turnovers, but vital to have on the floor. Good job by him at least keeping the team in the fight and focused. Hart, couldn’t hit anything. KCP and Svi had a couple moments scoring. Zubac, very flat tonight. Beasley, awful. Lance hit a couple threes, but dribbled the ball right out of bounds twice and missed everything else. The Sixers were really sitting in the passing lanes and the Lakers looked like they were throwing the ball to them half the time. Ball v. Fultz battle was epic. |

We must be the worst team at reading defenses in the league. I lost count of the number of passes we threw with the defender sitting right in the passing lane. Someone (bleep) look before throwing the pass for God’s sake. |

We’ve broken the season. Somehow, we signed LeBron and still broke the season . |

Don’t worry King James has them all right where he wants them. Imagine how Godly he’d be if he came back and guided this team into winning the West and then the finals. He would most definitely be the GOAT! This my fellow Laker fans is his plan...He sneaky like that LoL. |

I checked out early too. Careless, lack of focus, trade shock to begin the game.
Trade or not, does LBJ play again? |

The fact that this seems so odd is a testament to your consistency, DB. I'm rather surprised you don't do it more often, tbh. Of all nights though... you missed a bunch mindless blather about Greg Anthony's jacket, and Chris Webber's retort to Shaq's "Cheers" Vlade diss, 17 years after the fact. Get well soon, LeBron. |

So, any positives to be taken from this game at all?
McGee coming back to life.
BI getting his career-high.
Mykhailiuk showing his potential again (although 1-7 from 3 is not something to brag about). _________________ .

Missed you DB this is always my favorite place to go. It is very frustrating with all the injuries. Playoff hopes are starting to fade. |

Thanks DB! T&R in a nutshell! Your concise summary is all that needed to be said about last night.
INGRAM - Great game! Very efficient and (like you said) under control. You can tell he has been working on his game. Credit to Luke and the coaching staff as well. As short-handed as we are, we need BI to take over parts of the game (with, yes, some efficient ISO at times, if possible). Last night, being under control meant that he wasn't trying to do too much. He wasn't pressing into double teams. When he dribbled he kept his gangling limbs closer to his body which meant that he was taking care of the ball better.
MCGEE - Nice to see a good game from him. I'm not sure if he's still recovering from his illness or not but he always seems to be struggling to force his body to do his will. If he is truly as weary and forlorn as he appears to be then he is truly a courageous warrior out there. His body just appears fragile. I don't understand why he is listed at 270 pounds (7'0") and ZU only 240 (7'1"). By appearance you would think it's the opposite.
ZUBAC - Last night showed why ZU isn't quite ready for prime-time yet. Just doesn't have the confidence to deal with top-notch centers yet. He's slowly getting there. Still love his game but am glad we have three centers that can play. Hope Luke can manage each situation to have the right one playing at the right time. |

I fell asleep before the game. Got up, took a shower, got the energy going, was ready to go, started taking notes in that first quarter ... and then was like, are you kidding me? I'm just going to watch this one instead, lol. |

Thanks! I see on the link that BI was -111 (not -11) explaining why he is last on the list. [FIXED - DB] |
