I really hope Hart can regain his mojo and fix his on ball perimeter defense. Thats all we really need from him right now... be a spot up 3 point shooter without disappearing for months at a time and play decent D (dont foul 3 point shooters, dont let players blow right by you as if you are not even there)

I am really looking forward to see Hart under the defensive minded coach. Walton was always speaking about the defense but actually he didn't have a clue about the defense.
Now with Vogel, who is proven defensive minded coach, I think Hart can flourish.
Also I think he will be one of the main guys for Vogel. Something like the player for special things on the court.
We all know that Josh is great defensive player. I hope he will become on of the elite under FV. Just praying he will be healthy.

Hart seemed to take a nose dive last year, I'm hoping the knee issues which have been brought up have been resolved by next season....for me he had a pretty disappointing season...in reality I think the Lakers failed in pushing the young guys to make a jump

Lonzo - injured, did improve a bit on his 3, but should have taken more of a jump

Kuzma - the d he was supposedly working on was really underwhelming and his shooting seemed wildly inconsistent

BI - another season, another slow start, began to pick it up before injury....but his dreadful 3 point shooting is a problem

I think it was a team effort at being super dumb. Luke, Magic, Pelinka all did a stellar job at ignoring the center position and putting poorly balanced lineups on the floor.

That said, Luke put Hart in a bad spot. A few minutes of Hart at PF in a speedy lineup? Fine.

28 minutes of Josh Hart banging against guys who have 25 pounds and 5 inch height advantages? Game after game after game? Stupid. Lo and behold, Josh's knees act up, Josh plays through injury, his game falls off, and some fans declare that he sucks and always sucked.

Group effort at being super dumb IMO.

I concur.
Probably started with the moronic view that LeBron or Kuz would be able to play extended minutes at center.

Hopefully Vogel can teach him how to close out on 3 point shooters WITHOUT fouling.
