Shaq and Don (hops) Nelson went the other way..
The current HBO Real Sports episode has a feature on Don Nelson and his life today. Don's on his way, looks very old. Has the long "I don't care" hair that some gents grow in their final days. He took in an adult daughter that he didn't know about until she was 35ish. Good of him.
Ah, found
Woa, Nellie!!! Good to see happiness on Don!! _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

....." each year in Lakerland is marked by four seasons: Kobe’s Mad at His Teammates; Kobe’s Shooting Too Much; Kobe Leads the Victory Parade; Kobe Receives His Championship Ring."
Could KCP have agreed to be trade filler somewhere?
Nailed it! Don't know if he "agreed" but i am pretty sure, if the Lakers make a midseason trade for a "good player", we'll use KCP's $8M to try and make the salaries match!
He has to agree. Since his second year is an option, he is technically a one year signing and has trade veto rights...
Is it because his second year is an option? Asking because I'm no cap expert and his Spotrac page says this:
Yes, more precisely because the second year is HIS option. If it were a team option, they could pick it up and trade him. But because it is his, he has to agree to a trade.
We tried to trade him to Chicago last year and he vetoed it. IIRC same issue with Phoenix when we were shooting for Ariza, though I guess they didn’t get as far down the road.
I really think the deal was to get KCP a contract and try to trade him somewhere this season. If he likes the destination he opts in and collects a 15% trade bonus. Question is where is that destination?
On the Bradley front, dude has been a starter for the last several years. He would seem to fit what we need in that unit too.

As long as Bradley is even 80% the player he was with the Celtics at both ends, I love this signing. He can create his own shot and score, which we were lacking in the backcourt, and he can harrass small guards like Lou Will, Lillard, Westbrook, Conley, etc.
Looking at his career stats, it looks like the Clippers are the one team he sucked on. Elsewhere in recent seasons, whether it was Detroit or Memphis, his 3 point shooting and steals were on par with his days in Boston. _________________ Lakers 49ers Chargers Dodgers
Not sure if this has been posted but it’s a great video about Bradley from an supposed NBA scout. Breaks down how Bradley is still a tenacious good defender despite the analytics and why his offensive game dropped in LAC but spiked up in Memphis.

The Human Valium. Narrator put me through sleep under 2 mins, good breakdown otherwise.

He’s no LFR but he does a good job of breaking down film on defense and offense rather than relying on only analytics to judge a player like many on twitter do
I feel more confident with this signing now that I know his defense is still there and he’s a 40% shooter on wide open 3s

He know's basketball for sure, but can have some terrible take's because he likes to go against the grain just to be that guy. He's just straight up weird on Twitter

he looks at tape well. he's just an ass on twitter. useful vid though. I value just that 10mins of tape as much as i do his analytics; clearly shows he's still the best defensive POA guard in the game some games. And has some gravity on O.
worth the RE, imo, for sure

Yeah, he's great at tape breakdowns but his Twitter takes can be odd
One thing about Bradley that I read is that he was often made to guard shooting guards and small forwards on defense at the Clippers. He’s not made to do that, he defends point guards reasonably well, guys who are short enough to not blow by him with ease
If he plays at SG on offense and PG on defense, we’ve got a good one. He can do that with Bron as our primary offensive ball handler _________________ #18 next...
