He was bad on open 3s last year. He really needs to get back to shooting like he did his rookie year.
Sophomore slump?
No, how he shot last season is more in line with his college career.
Been saying that all along. His history says he simply reverted back to the mean last year. Rookie year was an outlier.
Just because you been saying it doesn't mean that you're right
Total college 3 point attempts in 3 seasons: 169
Total rookie year 3 point attempts: 434
Thank you for correcting the statistical nonsense spouted by VLF! _________________ Starting Lakers Dynasty6.0! NOW!!

When do you think Kawhi will go back to shooting like he did in college? Since players are finished products in college _________________ Previously LBJ23
Kendall aint a Kardashian... Blake got his game back after her. Simmons actually shot a 3.
And no man is turning that girl down. Good for Kuz
😂 Blake was here... Simmons too... Kuz on that chair like Morgan Freeman at the end of Shawshank. Served more Smash than Mickey Deez. _________________ DEAR BASKETBALL

I'm really hoping that Kuz makes another jump defensively and in his play-making again next season. He had some flashes of improved defense and passing season, but his shooting definitely took a dip. I remember him guarding the opposing team's best players from time to time. Nice to see that he isn't scared of a challenge.

We'll see this season if his 3-ball during his rookie year was really a fluke or not. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

I hope next season he will move to another stage of his career. Its time to step up defensively and start to shoot better. 30% from three will not work for him in this league. If you are not great defender you have to shoot close to 40% to stick around.

I want both! better defense AND 40% shooter
glad to see him working with a shooting coach, hope he working with a defensive technician as well to help him with defensive footwork and positioning. _________________ (bleep) Kawhi

That is plain dumb, Kawhi shows consistent improvement annually while Kuzma has a hot half of a season and regresses after that. There is no logical comparison. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

True tweener defensively. Not big enough to guard bigs and not quick enough to guard wings/SF's.
Since he's not likely to grow, I look to him to improve his lateral and overall fast twitch/quickness. We are going to need another wing defender. All other players along side Lebron/AD should be 3&D.
He's got the 3 (theoretically) I'm hoping he improves his ability to guard P&R and chase faster/quicker players.

He’ll be challenged defensively. he’ll never be a top notch defender but can at least be adequa-te and make smart decisions.
His career arc will be in line with his shot. _________________ Darvin
Kuz showed improvement on D throughout the season last year. With a better coaching staff and better teammate defenders I expect Kuz to be at least avg on D this season
