South Bay Blows by Wolves in Fourth Quarter to Grab Road Win

The South Bay Lakers overcame a 21-point second-half deficit to pull out a 152-148 win over the Iowa Wolves on Sunday afternoon.
A 21-point, 13-rebound double-double from Devontae Cacok and a season-high 28 points from Wayne Selden Jr. led the Lakers (15-22) to the comeback victory.

In 20 games (two starts), with the Clippers, Roberson averaged 6.1 points and 4.4 rebounds. D. Smith (Louisiana-Monroe), appeared in 32 games (all starts), averaging 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 2.2 steals while shooting 40.0 percent from three-point range.
Pierre Jackson paced South Bay with his 38 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Stockton did some of everything with 16 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. Devontae Cacok had his 23rd double-double of the year with 12 points and 13 rebounds and Kostas Antetokounmpo scored 19 points with six rebounds, two assists and one block. Reggie Hearn (11 points), Wayne Selden Jr. (11 points) and Javan Felix (10 points) also scored in double figures for South Bay.
The South Bay Lakers continued their strong play of late as they beat the Santa Cruz Warriors, 128-122, on Wednesday night. Pierre Jackson nearly tallied a triple-double for South Bay (16-22) with 25 points, nine rebounds, nine assists and two steals. Former Laker Zach Norvell Jr. paced the Warriors (19-18) with a career-high 34 points.
The South Bay Lakers put up a tough fight but ultimately lost to the Salt Lake City Stars, 134-128, on Monday night. Devontae Cacok and David Stockton each tallied a double-double for South Bay (17-23), but the Lakers couldn’t hold on in the fourth quarter. Justin Wright-Foreman scored a game-high 31 points to give the Stars (28-12) the victory.
