OKC is a pathetic 4-19 from 3 . . . and we are worse, at 4-26. Good grief. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".
Lebron-Davis-Mcgee are killing the spacing. We would be so much better with Davis at C. There would be more ball movement and the paint all for Davis and Bron.
Caruso / Waiters
KCP / JR
LeBron / Green
Kuzma / Morris
Davis / Dwight

Lakers need to get over what is bothering them in the bubble because this is pathetic. Especially odd because most teams are are looking energized and in synch.
to do this bad, you should really suck at shooting when LBJ and AD draw so much attention.
That’s what drives me nuts. Our shooters aren’t even being contested most of the time. Defenses just worry about AD or Bron as soon as they’re inside the 3 point line

With all the shooters in this league, you would think we could have gotten at least one for fifteen million. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:

Play your best player and open up the floor.
McGee I agree with as far as spacing goes.... the problem with lebron and Ad is there hesitant to shoot. They take there time with the ball in there hands. Which is both good and bad....
In playoffs when defense tighten up its good to have those skills. But we need one of them to also be able to take a quick catch and shoot with hesitating...
McGee doesn't make sense next to Davis in the starting lineup in most cases....
And actually if we end up playing a team like Denver I believe its better to start Dwight to put on Jokic....
If we matchup against Portland for example Dwight is a better fit to guard Nurkic then McGee...
If we play Phoenix for example...Really Davis should guard Ayton and we should put Kuzma at the 4 to start...
Also, wouldn't hesitate to try JR smith in the starting lineup instead of KCP who hasn't been great in the bubble and seems to have lost a bit of confidence that he had gained.
I guess the only option, for now, is to keep shooting and hope they start falling. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns".

Green was #2 in three point percentage last season! But, what we need is a high volume and high percentage three point shooer. Somebody that makes atleaast 3 per game. A real threat.

And is no longer. _________________ Damian Lillard shatters Dwight Coward's championship dreams:
If only we could've had players who can shoot 3's this season like:
- Thomas Bryant (42%)
- Brandon Ingram (39%)
- Lonzo Ball (38%)
*insert sponebob chicken meme *
How did we loose Bryant? Did we just let him walk in free agency? He showed potential as a rare shot blocking stretch 5 and now he is doing it. As far as Zo and BI go, they had to be traded in order for us to get AD. And even then, they were not good three point shooters, so who would of thunk that they would improve the way they did? But to get a star like AD, they simply had to go in the deal. You have to give up something to get something. Then we had a window to get more free agents, but we were waiting on Kahwii. Then, we were fortunate to get Green. Ideally though, we could of tried to get a great shooter for Kuzma and other pieces, while Kuzma's value was still up. If we would of been proactive, we could of tried to get somebody like Bogdan, Harris or Kennard when there value was down. Or trade for a draft pick and get a young sniper like Hero or Robinson.
I think there is a difference between drive and kick spot up threes and ball movement threes. We need to get more of the latter, get a real offensive system that is not solely reliant on Lebron or AD to create something. Get them easier baskets and get the shooters in a better rhythm.

But that is not the system they run. James is an iso player. He controls the ball and tempo and drives and finds the open shooter. He has spent his entire career doing so. It is not going to change now in his final couple seasons.

I don’t think it’s a system issue - it seems to me much more a confidence issue. When the ball is kicked to you by Bron - step up in rhythm and catch and shoot or if the defender is closing - make the extra pass. Right now they are hesitating far too much, making wrong reads and not cutting. I think these can all be remedied by tape, practice time and strong leadership by Bron and AD encouraging these guys. We can correct these issues. _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club
