Boston. Nothing makes a Lakers fan happier than destroying the Celtics.

Before the 2008 Finals, I remember someone on the Celtics shouting “And we’re 8-2!” He was talking about the Celtics record against the Lakers in the Finals and that annoyed me. Then they made it 9-2 (but now it’s 9-3).

Time to give them another Finals loss. Too bad the 2002 Lakers didn’t get a chance to beat them.

And even then, the 2008 loss should have an asterisk.

I can't believe some of you would actually root for boston over the clippers. The clippers have never done anything to us...they've never won anything and they've never beat us at any level. C'mon folks, let's respect the history of this franchise and what its been through.

If anything, I respect what Kawhi did. I despise the superteam era, and he wants to compete instead of taking an easy path to a championship.

This is tough. I can see why 538 has us at 7% to win it all with who’s left. I would love to beat the Celtics, but they have lost me of athletic wings they can throw at Lebron, they can score in bunches, and Kemba’s ability to penetrate will cause us issues.

Toronto plays the best team ball, Gasol & Ibaka will make it hard for AD, and Kyle is that dog, but I like our chances almost against them.

Miami is well coached and Spols knows Lebron’s game better than anyone. Jimmy isn’t Lebron and Bam isn’t AD, but if they gain confidence I can see them slow our guys down. Crowder is playing well, Iggy has Lebron’s number, that tall dude from Michigan can shoot the 3, Tyler Hirro is playing like a star, and we have no answers for Goran. We DON’T want to play Miami.

Imagine a worst case scenario of Boston vs Clippers. Who do you root for?

Apocalypse

As a kid I was a NY Giants fan. I completely understand your answer, especially when the Cowboys, Eagles, or Washington all played each other.

I think the Clippers are a tougher matchup than the Celtics, Heat, or Raptors.
