Let’s not forget the Thunder really liked Donovan but they wanted to go to a full rebuild which is why both parties moved on, Bulls are gonna be significantly Improved next year. |

agree 100%. if not dwight we still have options like Noel, WCS, Tristan T, ALex Len |
Is TT a FA? I remember LeBron and Thompson hugged it out after a Cavs and Lakers game, they seem pretty close with each other. |
joker is 7 foot and over 280 lbs
thompson may not be strong enough |

Depending on what moves the Bulls make I see them being a playoff team in the EC fighting for the 5-8 seed. |

He had an equally good year (statistically) at age 36, but with Shaq & DWade missing half the season, the Heat couldn't repeat.
I keep Dwight, even if it costs the full MLE for a season. |
I really agree here, Dwight is a really special piece - can't be used in all situations, but when he fits, he does the job better than any alternative. |

Ha, I do wonder if they'd move Otto Porter's expiring. |

What if they trade for Paul George?
Otto Porter Jr + Denzel Valentine for PG13 works in the trade checker. |

Why would the Clippers do that? Granted, it is going to be hard for them to get a better player than PG if they trade him (because PG is an expiring, basically, since he has a player option for the following season), but Otto Porter and Valentine? They can surely do better than that if they were to move PG. |

I think if Otto Porter bounces back under Donovan he could have more on court value than Zach, but that also might be a way to leverage a better trade. I don't know who's sufficiently disgruntled who would be willing to go the Bulls and is on a team that would value Porter's expiring, LaVine, and change. _________________ Under New Management |

Who are you expecting to get for a guy who was a major disappointment in the playoffs? Otto Porter Jr is a good player btw, just can’t stay healthy even Mike vouches for him. |

Also PG13 had a brain fart last year in the playoffs against the Jazz as well, dude can’t play when the lights are bright, no one is gonna give up a major stud for him they should be happy if they can get Otto Porter. |

I'm not expecting PG to get traded for a better player, is what I'm saying. If they go the "let's get 2 solid players instead" route, like what BVH suggested, to me that's a win for us. Teams with 1 star don't win championships except in very rare circumstances. I know a lot of people are floating the PG for CP3 idea, but I don't know why OKC would do that. PG would be there for 1 year before opting out and leaving, and it would seem to me that OKC would rather turn CP3 into a 1st round pick if they can (in addition to what they already turned RW into, which was CP3 and picks), or at least a young player on a rookie deal with multiple years of team control. Not to mention the obvious baggage of both of those players returning to places where the ending wasn't the most pleasant, shall we say. |

is he really a jokic stopper tough?
jokic in game 1: 25:25mins 21/6/2. Dwight played 16mins 4 fouls
Jokic in game 2: 38:39mins 30/6/9/4 Dwight played 12:45mins and had 5 fouls |
I shouldn't say "stopper," which no one in the league probably is, AD included. But consider these numbers when Dwight was in the game:
GAME 1
2nd Quarter (3.5 mins)
0 points
0 assists
3 rebounds
3 turnovers
3rd quarter (~9 mins)
7 points
0 assists
1 rebound
GAME 2
2nd quarter (7 mins)
8/8 FTs
1 assist
0 rebounds
1 TO
4th quarter (6 mins)
5 points
0 assists
0 rebounds
~25 minutes total minutes vs Dwight
20 points (12 points off FTs)
1 assist
4 rebounds
4 TOs
extrapolate to 36 minutes
28.8 ppg (+4 over his playoff per 36)
1.4 assists (-7)
10 rebounds (-4)
His scoring was up a tick, but I’d attribute that to Dwight almost completely eliminating him as a playmaker. Making him work for shots on the offensive end vs (creating easy buckets off assists) + bullying him on defense = more exhausted Jokic, more likely to exit game earlier due to fatigue or fouls (which are often a result of fatigue)
That’s about the best you can hope for. Considering how much Jokic can dominate a series and lead you to victory, even when in a 3-1 hole? How much is that worth to teams? More than BAE that’s for sure. |

But that's the problem. I'm sure a team is sitting there thinking, "can we give Dwight the right environment just like the Lakers? Will we drop $10m on him and based on his mercurial personality, he reverts?" |
Personally, I wouldn't worry about Dwight. He's nearing the end of his career and he's grown up. He came to LA with his head completely straight, and I have no reason to think that's going to change, whenever he goes. So, yeah, if I were a GM and Dwight was the best player to meet my needs, I wouldn't worry about making him an offer. |

Kuzma + 28 + Green for Hield/Schroder
or
Kuzma + Cook for Rose
Those are the deals I’d be looking at
Keep in mind Kuz’s rookie contract ends in 2021. I don’t think I want to be paying him the money he’ll be asking for _________________ #18 next... |
