Otherwise, probably knowing someone at the Lakers would be the other way to do it. |
That's from what I've seen.
I've done the NBA jobs thing. There are quality jobs available, but the spots I want are up in Portland, non-paid 1 year internship types.
The offers I had from the Clippers were marketing/business based. I wanted the basketball side of things. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

No. I think the lady who interviewed me wanted to use my knowledge (I suppose statistically and athletically) to show the players in a "greater light." when it came to photos, posters, etc.
There are other positions just to sell tix. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Be unathletic, claim you have lots of potential, and be a shooter that can't shoot. And be able to draw a triangle, say that you have lots of potential, and don't even try to play defense. _________________ Double rings > Double rainbow |

If you're big and bulky, you can probably apply for security at the training facility or Staples |

I've been getting updates from that site for more than 3 years and a Laker job has never been posted there. |

The Lakers get enough applicants through universities.
I don't miss the interview process one bit for one of those NBA internships. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Actually I had a contact who was hiring for a moderately high marketing-level position with an NBA team a few years back. I posted it on LG, yet no one expressed an interest in it at the time. |
