Good laptop for college?

Hey all, I'll be going off to college this fall and am in need of a decent laptop.

It doesn't have to be brand new, it can be used, but it just has to run well and not be too pricey for an 18 year old.

Anybody have suggestions or some websites that I could visit? Thanks!

Compaq Presario (of course Compaq is now part of HP) 2100 mine is old though its lasted 4 years.


I doubt they make my type anymore but my brother got a Compaq Presario with Intel Celuron.
