What “big three” team is better? Figured I’d start a threat since it will be talked about all year.

That was started before the Lakers got Westbrook.

In a finals matchup. Harden will/would perform the worst of the 6 stars.

No doubt in my mind.

Nets are better. Here is how I rank the 6 stars next year :
1. KD
2. AD
3. LBJ
4. Harden
5.Irving
6. RW

They have the best player and we have the worst of the six. They fit better and are younger.

Beyond that (can't totally disagree re: BKN's Big 3), which squad has the best supporting cast?

Mills, Griffin, Harris, Claxton, Brown, DAJ, Bembry, James Johnson
vs
Nunn, THT, Melo, Howard, Ariza, Bazemore, Gasol, Monk, Ellington

It’s pretty much a toss up, although I’d lean towards us

Have you never rooted for the underdog?

KD, Harden, Kyrie are more skilled than any of the six other than LBJ. AD and Russ are freak athletes who can't shoot or create as well as Brooklyn's three.

But at least we have a fighting chance against a healthy Brooklyn team, and I'm excited to see that battle if it materializes in the finals.

I like the role players we added... I'm hoping THT develops... and the presence of former stars like Dwight and Melo will help.

If both sides stay healthy, it should be an epic battle... and I'm not discounting all the other teams who will be a factor as well.

BKN only because LBJ is older. But we got a punchers chance and in a series, if AD plays to his potential they got no answer for him.

Blake help carry them in the playoffs. His defense was on the toughest matchups and he came through like he didn't in the past. He really gifted them an early Xmas with that signing even given his payday buyout. Tbe real question Is where was the D all along?

I wish both teams a very healthy and successful season.

If they meet in the finals it would be a heavyweight slugfest for sure.

If it was a 3-on-3 game this might matter...lol

ESPN called the Lakers a Big 4....Lebron, AD, Russ and Melo. I am just the messenger.

Over 82 games, I would have to go with the Nets Durant, Harden and Kyrie....just because of Lebron's age. In a 7 game series, if healthy, I like the Lakers....ironically mostly because of Lebron's experience.

If KD and Kyrie be putting up another 50/40/90 season, then the Nets are clearly better. But basketball games are sometimes won by x-factors. My dream is for THT to blow up! Also, we will be a penetrating team, they are a jump shooting team. Jump shooters can get tight when it matters most. That's how the 73-9 Warriors lost. I expect KD to be stone cold always, there's a chance Kyrie and James Harden can suck when it matters most, especially James Harden. We got a shot.

Among these, Mills, Harris and Dwight are a tier above the rest in terms of impact IMO
