got a free year. We pretty much let Caruso go because we were getting this guy. Such a shame. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

At the very least they got a career 38% three point shooter and someone that can actually play backup point instead of depending on Nunn to get back this year. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

You see the bright side of him but I see him as another liability on defense. I would rather slide Monk to the PG position instead. |

The defense is going to be crap without AD.
The Lakers already got a defender that wasn't an offensive guy in Stanley Johnson.
The Lakers are lacking right now in defense only AD can provide them, and are lacking in a backup point guard because Nunn can't get on the court this season.
They've had to give this responsibility to THT and Reaves and occasionally Monk. Which is okay but ultimately not where they are best utilized.
What they are trying to create here in terms of backup point guard was something of a consistent backup 1 feeling they had before they got rid of Rondo cause they thought Nunn would be back sooner than he was.
Augustin isn't a defensive move, he's a "three point shooting backup point guard we're lacking" move, essentially. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

And he got minutes last night and was one of the few people that actually hit threes.
In all honesty, if you surround LeBron and Westbrook with 2-3 shooters it probably makes life easier for them.
One of the reasons that Vogel should have never taken Monk out of the starting lineup. But that's the kind of decision making Vogel makes, to the benefit of no one. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

Exactly what the Lakers need. Another small player, but this time, it's 5'11, not 5'8. 24 game win streak on its way.

Signing is fine but tells the story of just how weak we are. Also that Nunn is not coming back any time soon. |

At what point is this not Pelinka playing a joke or sabotaging Vogel? DJ isn't a bad guard, but without another move we are still down a big regardless that DJ was unplayable. |

This has Kurt Rambis written all over it. Dude was a terrible coach and even worse executive...
Jeanie really needs to stop the nepotism... Jerry Buss would be so disappointed in her. |

Six foot and under league here come. This is a serious joke right? At this point take the two-way players and play them. The season is done. |

Jerry Buss is like a rolling stone in his grave with Jeanie at the helms. If the spirit of Jerry Buss walked in the franchise and seen Rambiis, Rob, and Magic as the executives, with a side of Phil, it might kill him a 2nd time. |

What is with this team and their obsession with ball handlers. Bron has the ball all the freaking time and that’s never going to change. Their fooling themselves and have ever since Bron arrived. |

If you want a shooting lineup, you can put Melo, Monk and Ellington on the floor together. Nunn is more than a one skill specialist that Augustin can't become. My point is, if you want more shooting, give more playing time to Ellington and Monk. Both Jordan and Augustin are end of the bench guy. When AD is injured like he is now, at the very least, Jordan functions as a safety net when Howard is in foul trouble or injured. |
